First of all you are always given her full attention.. no rushing or long waits. It is her and her two Nurse practitioners , so you never see an unfamiliar face at your visits (I love that). You can tell she truly cares and takes her time and REALLY listens when you see her . What I love is she also does female exams so no seeing a separate Doctor for that !!! I am comfortable with her and she always puts my nerves at ease. They always get me in when I need and they have a patient portal for convenience, I have never not got a response with questions or concerns ,they are always on top of it. When I moved away to Massachusetts for a year I wouldn't see another Doctor I would just see her when I was visiting home. I feel like I hit the lottery Doctor wise with her and her nurses. But I was in the ER with pneumonia Friday, 4/7, and Dr. Burca's office called me Tuesday to ask how I was & to schedule a followup visit. THAT was impressive. Today (4/14) was that follow up, and she is extraordinary. She went over my tests and records from ER, and past records from my previous primary. She was thorough, intelligent, and kind. She recommended a pulmonologist for my prior lung issues, recommended a follow up in a month to be sure the pneumonia was gone, and changed my June appointment to a wellness check & physical. Meanwhile, she asked me to please call if I got worse or needed anything. SHE is impressive! Her office staff is friendly and efficient. Erin was the one who called me Tuesday and I met her today when I checked in. Shameeka took my vitals before I saw Dr. Burca. Tracy checked me out, making my future appointments and giving me paperwork for referral & tests. All three women were cordial and skillful.

Repeat tests are a waste if tests are done within 6 to 8 months. They do not practice endocrinology which in lot of circumstances are a source of diagnosis. My doctor is always very thorough when I see him and addresses my concerns. Right now I am giving him a lot to work with so we'll see how that all goes. One thing that is a large downfall to this office is their phone system. They only have two lines so if they are being used by other patients for appointments then you just get a busy signal vs a waiting line or answering service.

She is a wonderful Dr. who has caught things other physicians have not. She has referred me to wonderful surgeons and specialists when needed and I'm sure you can understand how important and comforting that is. The office is well located in the physician building behind Dunedin Hospital. The staff is efficient and communicates well. I've been really happy with her over the years.
