He's kind, caring and takes the time to explain his diagnosis, medical advice, prescriptions, and more. He has gotten us through a few surgical procedures and emergency situations. Melissa, his assistant is a no-nonsense professional who somehow manages the busy phone lines and hectic flow of seniors in and out of the waiting room. One thing I'll never forget is calling his office on a Sunday to leave a message about needing a Rx. He answered the phone and I was able to get antibiotics on a Sunday without going to a pharmacy clinic.

I see a lot of physicians regularly over the past 15 years, and dew are as honest, as caring, or as thorough as Dr. Guirguis. I've been traumatized by poor physicians in my lifetimes, so the term "White Coat" just doesnt cut it. Yet when I go to see Dr. G , Zed, and everyone else at PP, it's like I'm going to see people I know, because they truly care. (And in the modern medical climate, this is the most rare of traits.) Most importantly... he is honest. When he talks to me, I can tell his sincerity. I can see and feel his empathy. To be honest, without Dr. Guirguis... I simply would not be here today. Bedside manners are terrible. Try to get consistent refills of prescriptions; forget about it. They will only refer you to other WellMed practitioners. He's been great and helping my mom navigate some medical issues that she's gotten as she's gotten older. A few years back, she was in a bad accident too and had to go into a rehab center, and they even came by a few times to just check in with her. The office staff and front desk are welcoming and helpful, answering questions. And the nurses are absolutely the friendliest. The office itself is clean, very patient-friendly, and easy to navigate. Another bonus is they have onsite blood work - phlebotomist Dale is super great!

I came back and I was given another injection which was painful as I felt no relief from an anesthesic. I asked the doctor what was nect. Her assistant said "No pokes" She said next I'd be getting an oblation. I tried to speak with the doctor about what was happening with no luck. All was very strange. I cancelled all future appointments but kept getting a referral from, I guess, the oblation doctor. Obviously, this doctor does little talking. Extremely Disappointed With Billing Negligence and Lack of Accountability…read more I visited Bayside Urgent Care and clearly informed the receptionist--three times--before receiving any services that I needed to make sure my insurance would cover everything. I was assured and proceeded based on that understanding. The doctor recommended a lab test "just in case," and I followed his medical advice. At no point did anyone warn me that the lab they would send my sample to was out-of-network. A few weeks later, I received a huge bill from an outside lab that does NOT accept my insurance. I called Bayside Urgent Care immediately to understand why my labs were sent to an unauthorized office when I had explicitly stated multiple times to verify insurance coverage. The receptionist was dismissive, unhelpful, and simply told me: "You received the bill, so it's your responsibility. Talk to the lab." No concern, no accountability, no explanation. To make things worse, when my insurance agent contacted Bayside Urgent Care today, the office suddenly changed their story, claiming they had sent my labs to a different facility that does accept my insurance. Meanwhile, I continue to receive large bills from the out-of-network lab, and Bayside Urgent Care refuses to assist or correct the issue. This has been stressful, misleading, and completely avoidable had the staff simply honored my repeated requests to verify insurance coverage. Their inconsistent statements and lack of responsibility are unacceptable. I do not recommend this urgent care to anyone who values transparency, proper billing practices, or respectful customer service.
