so I came to this doctor in extreme pain, she scheduled an esi shot that is to be done every 2 weeks she decided and lied about insurance taking its time. The shots were given 2 months apart. every doctor I asked said it was useless to do it absolutely no benefit except to her pocket book...SHE is a COMPLETE fraud. Which I could provide less stars. After waiting over an hour this so called Doctor said she wasn't comfortable providing my current prescription dosage of Percocet. This prescription continues to be obtained from a legitimate pain management group in Clearwater. The reason for my visit was because my current pain management group increased their billing rate by over a 150%. My pain management treatment has been on going for over four years. I suffer from chronic long term knee pain. Dr. Brown should be a little more responsive to the patients comfort. Instead of worrying about a legal prescription dosage. In addition,you are treated like a 10 year old drug seeker. I wouldn't recommend this DO for any medical treatments. Major disappointment. read more

Dr. Brown and her staff are extremely helpful and kind. I have been to 4 doctors now for the same thing. She is the only one who's taken the time time to make a game plan with me about how we can manage my pain without just throwing medications at me. She listens to my needs as my career is very active and she thinks long term when it comes to my treatment plan. I'd recommend her to anyone who isn't looking for just medication. I already have a pain management Dr. I really like, 5min from home, so I did not want to go see Dr. Brown, but my PCP insisted because she specialized in "reflexology" and I have an ongoing SCM syndrome issue among other things causing neck muscle fatigue. So I drove nearly and hour each way to see her. She really had no answers, theories or ideas. She just said I need physical therapy. So I went THERE for PT. I met with Maria, she was fantastic. She taught me more than all the Dr.'s I have ever seen combined about what my MRI's showed. Things like Schmorl's Nodes, disk dehydration, reversal of the cervical lordosis and spurring, things the Dr.'s don't explain unless you ask. She spent 2hrs with me the first visit, even though insurance authorized 45min. She gave me numerous exercises and stretches to do at home. They scheduled a follow up, went to see her again, she gave me a few new exercises and used a scraping tool on my neck and back. There was no mention of a follow up nor did they schedule me to come back. 5 months later I had no good results from home exercises. I thought that was a reasonable amount of time to see results. I called to make an appointment with Maria, they said I had to see Dr. Brown again first. When I get there I see a new PA, not Dr. Brown. She uses a stethoscope to check my heart and my lungs. Never had that done at pain management before. Strange. Anyways what does the PA do? She prescribes me physical therapy. I'm like wait, I already was prescribed PT and did the exercises for the last 5 months and had no results. Her tone of voice completely changes and she cops a major attitude. She say's "Well sweetie, you only came twice and didn't show up after that, how do you expect to get better?". I'm like "huh"? I only had two visits and went to both. She says "But you were on a 10 visit program and only came twice". I was baffled. I never knew I was on a 10 visit program. No one ever mentioned 10 visits. They never scheduled me any appointments after the second one. I told her I had no idea. She basically says "I don't know I didn't work here then". She said that at least 5x over the course of the visit. Basically she said they completely dropped the ball on my treatment but continued to be rude and give me major attitude as if I was in the wrong. People like her don't belong working in a healthcare environment, especially with people in chronic pain. You have to have some kind of compassion and understanding for that. Not attitude. So I'll go elsewhere. Liked working with Maria, she is very knowledgeable but I would never go back and deal with the rudeness of this PA. Oh and by the way, it's not a good look for your business when you have a morbidly obese PA working for you in a Pain Management/Physical Therapy office. If anyone in that room should have been prescribed PT it's her! read more

Pain management..been coming to her for 6 years..no surgery..minimal pain.today cortisone for bursa in hip.last visit injection trigger shot for stenosis of spine pinching nerve in neck..she is awesome..i can continue to work a stressful job as a server without narcotics..also she is fexible as possible to fit me in according to my work schedule which is hard to do.most drs are out 2 weeks before you can get in to see them read more

After waiting for over an hour and a half, I saw her for a total of 7 minutes. While I was waiting, she ordered 12 X-rays that were performed at her clinic ( I'm suspect this is just a way to bill the insurance company for extra reimbursement) Even though I was there for pain management for a medical procedure that is to take place & I even provided the referral from my primary doctor with specific details about the medication and why it was needed, it apparently did not fit her agenda. I also informed her office when inquiring about making an appointment that I had a medical cannabis card & they assured me it would not be an issue. After the long wait, the x-rays she came into the room only to tell me that she could not write the prescription because of the MMJ card! I feel the entire visit was nothing more than a way to bill my insurance! If there is a positive review on this doctor, I would question the legitimacy of it. read more

Worst pain management doctor in Clearwater. She saw a friend who was post surgery in 10 days. Of course she ordered expensive X-ray to bilk her insurance and gave her nothing for her excruciating pain. What an insincere quack. STAY AWAY! She should not be in the Pain Management Specialty. I'm so mad at this incompetent doctor. She has prescribed basically three prescriptions that all do the same thing. Well the last one was a little different it had two black box drug warnings on the box. Doesn't remember where my pain is and prescribes anti depressants to someone who's not depressed.
