My friend had experience miraculous results with Dr. Brett who had treated him for a back condition and a shoulder condition. I told my friend that there was no use. I had been treated by physical therapists and chiropractors and orthopedic doctors and pain specialists for 30 years, with no results. I did not believe that Dr. Brett could help me, but I went to see him just so my friend would quit bugging me. Sure enough, when I went to see Dr. Brett, we couldn't do much in terms of therapy because my back pain was so bad, and almost any kind of movement would cause my back to spasm. Advanced Medical of Florida is a multi-specialty clinic. Dr. Brett sent me to Dr. Miguel Attias, MD, Anesthesiologist, and Interventional Pain Specialist. I had been given injections before, in the spine, between the 3rd and 4th vertebrae, with no improvement. Dr. Attias told me that he though I had been mis-diagnosed and gave me an injection in a different location, close to my hip bone. Within hours of the procedure, I felt like the back pain was completely gone, and I felt like a new woman. I haven't had a pain pill since the procedure. It is a miracle. Now I am looking forward to physical therapy to strengthen my back from years of inactivity. Next week, I am going to apply for a job. (I love working, but haven't been able to work for 30 years). Why did I get a better result from the doctors at Advanced Medical of Florida? Because they care more and they listen better.

From…read morethe time I called to get information from the front desk, to check on the authorization and referral for the Botox and now the Billing. It seems that the ladies at the front desk, alone with the ones in the back ( the one that's in charge of the authorization and referrals and Sam that's in the Billing Department are giving out conflicting information. Each time I called to check on the authorization for the Botox I was given a different answer. I didn't get that straight until I called my insurance and they called over to the office. Now I received a bill for $262.30 that I wasn't prepared for. I called the office today, Sam told me when I asked what was this she replied and I quote that's what you owe your potion. Your insurance paid their part again and I quote. I asked why I wasn't told ahead of time about this copayment? She said that the front desk should've told me that I had a copayment. I replied they didn't. My ins called because they couldn't find the bill they found out it was under the nurse practitioners name. Sam said the front desk should've told me the front desk said no we don't give you that information Billing does and I quote. Dr Patel this is very dysfunctional the way they're running the front of the office. Had I known that I had to pay 20% I never would've agreed to get the Botox injections. Now I'm walking around with a lifted eyebrow due to the Botox after I did my research and how am I going to get this fixed now that I don't plan to get anymore treatments because I can't pay for them? I am truly sickened and disappointed over this. This has nothing to do with the care that you render. I'm very satisfied with that. This star rating only refers to Dr Patel, his nurse and his nurse practitioner.

    I'm a patient. I had an appt on 12/16/25, I was suppose to be seeing Dr Hanrahan on that day,…read moreinstead they assigned Dr Vishal Panchal. He told me that Dr Hanrahan is retiring in 09/2026 and only comes in 2 days a week. What was I suppose to do? So, of course I accepted Dr Vishal Panchal. He knows me 5 minutes and dictates how I should be living my life. I'm 70 years old. I listened to him and then I shutdown after his 10 minute speech... Let me start with my blood test results. The test result shows I have a urinary issue. At that time I had no symptoms, so he wouldn't prescribe anything to clear it up. Big mistake. I had symptoms about two weeks later. I called the office and the message said contact my pharmacy and I did. I had to call the office again because they hadn't responded to CVS. I never got that prescription and I ended up getting an over the counter solution...That's not the worst. The worst is I have been on Rosuvastatin Calcium 10mg for 90 days per my insurance company because it's a maintenance drug. Dr Hanrahan personally prescribed the medication for my high cholesterol years ago. It's due to be refilled with -0- refills left. I contacted CVS so they can contact Dr Hanrahan's office and again no response from her office to CVS. Then, finally they gave me a 30 day supply with no refills...Yesterday, Thursday, March 26, 2026 CVS sent me a text and an email informing me that, "your prescriber has not responded to approve a 3-month supply for Rosuvastatin and that I need to call my prescriber. I need that prescription. I have a 3 pills left and then what. Dr Hanrahan what has happened to you. You ignore my request, you ignore CVS request. What do I do now??? What do I do in three days??? Let me tell you what I've tried to do. I found a new primary care Doctor. Unfortunately, I can't get a new patient appt until July 15, 2026 which I scheduled. I tried to get my medical records on your patient portal, however, it doesn't recognize me as a patient... In three days, I will suddenly be off of my Rosuvastatin Calcium 10 mg, prescribed by you. You and the other two Doctor's, in your, yes still your office until Sept 2026, should be ashamed of yourself for not prescribing a much, needed medicine. I'm 70 years old and should not be in this shameful situation. Shame on you and your practice.

I had cervical spine surgery from a…read morespine institute that left me with severe nerve damage in what was my good arm, then severe chronic pain in my facet joints to the point I could not walk without it rubbing raw or turn my head. I had been a patient of Dr Hanrahan for 10 years at this point. After dealing with the neck pain for 2 years and being at the end of my witts asking for someone to help me. I asked her about disability and she yelled at me and said "we have nothing to do with that" and told me I "5 minutes too much of her time" and slammed the door while I was litterally in tears. Doctors are supposed to help and support you but she would not even recommend any specialist or document my problems when documentation is needed for any disability review. I lost my long standing career as an engineer and I lost everything trying to live on 19K a year from early 401K withdrawls. This woman should be ashamed of herself for the way she treated me.
