When I call the clinic I was told I did not take the urine test. I do not take it everytime and when I check in they get the dug test paper if I have to take one. So I filled out my paperwork, I even wrote on the type of medication because they did not have it on my chart. So after an hour in the back room a girl comes in to take my BP and ask if I am there for my refill I said yes and my shots, an hour later Brittany comes in gives me my knee shots and I am on my way. After talking to the pharmancy I called Brianna to tell them my meds weren't called in and she said it was because I did not take the drug test. I do not feel like it is my job to asked to be drugged screened. Plus after getting home I found my paperwork where I signed about the opioid agreement and they asked for my pharmancy...... and they told me I could come back in take the test then get a weeks supply and come back into get the full month supply. I told her I live half an hour away just to come in to take the drug test then come back a week later for a month supply. I have not had to have a refill for over 6 months because I was managing my migraines by taking them as needed instead of 2 a day....but lately they have started back up so I thought I would get everything at once. Worst communication ever~ they even put me over to the clinical advisor Loretta who told me she give me an extra day to come in the take the test, but after that I would need an appointment. Granted this after steroid shots where they tell you to stay off your feet and rest the first few days........I called today again..left a message and still no response, I realize these people are busy but we have lives also..... I think after several years with DR Hanna practice, I am done. I found another here in Palm Harbor~

She's action-oriented, determined, and clearly committed to making a positive impact. I also received exceptional care from one of her nurses, Jessica, who called me after hours to check on my condition. Unfortunately, my experience gets mixed from there. You'll see negative reviews of this practice, and here's my read on why. Dr. Brown is brilliantly competent, but she can come across as cold and unempathetic. I say this as a leadership psychologist (Dr. Brown -- you should reach out to me; I can help). I noticed the same thing with another assistant of hers: highly competent, but no warmth in the communication. That's not uncommon in medicine. It's unfortunate, because this team is brilliant with the Xs and Os. It's the Jills and Joes part that could use some elevation. Then came the moment I lost some trust. I had a flare-up and was in a lot of pain. I called and asked for a same-day appointment. The person at the front desk said, "I think we can get you in here or at our other facility. I'll call you back with a time." She never called. I'm guessing it was a simple oversight by someone overwhelmed with other tasks, and I could have called back myself -- that's on me. But the follow-through was Dr. Brown's responsibility. She's the leader. It was disappointing, and I lost some trust. I'm still rooting for Dr. Brown and her office, and I will try them again. Everyone makes mistakes. But this time, it will be with hesitation.

He has always made sure that I was taken care of and that everything was good with my meds, I can't say enough about the staff. They are pleasant and they do their job. On Thursday, I called the office twice to confirm the time of my Friday appointment and left messages. No one returned my calls. Friday morning, I called again twice and left another message. Still no response. On Monday, I called to find out what had happened. Again, no return call. By Tuesday, after multiple unanswered messages, I was understandably frustrated and left a strongly worded message. Ashley then told me that I had cancelled Friday's appointment--which I absolutely had not. I called back and spoke with another staff member, who told me, "Sorry, doc is on vacation." So, I'm left wondering what actually happened. Either my appointment was cancelled because Dr. Gerges was overbooked/unavailable, or someone in the office cancelled it for another reason. What I do know is that I did not cancel it. Mistakes and scheduling problems happen. What I find unacceptable is repeatedly calling an office about a scheduled medical procedure, receiving no return calls, and then being told that I was the one who cancelled the appointment. A simple phone call explaining that the appointment needed to be rescheduled would have avoided this entire situation.

my husband had a back injury that required surgery, but he needed steriod injections to reduce the…read moreswelling of the nerves in lower back. i was told he could be seen as early as monday since he has been in severe pain for 4 weeks. i gave them my insurance and provided all the medical records. i was supposed to receive an appointment. two days later they tell us they don't take our insurance. i called my insurance and they accept 90% of the treatment with a 10% copayment. clearly these people don't know what they are doing. i have informed the referring physcian to not refer patients in severe acute pain, as this place doesn't have patient care in mind.

I came back and I was given another injection which was painful as I felt no relief from an anesthesic. I asked the doctor what was nect. Her assistant said "No pokes" She said next I'd be getting an oblation. I tried to speak with the doctor about what was happening with no luck. All was very strange. I cancelled all future appointments but kept getting a referral from, I guess, the oblation doctor. Obviously, this doctor does little talking. Doctor showed little emotion, even when I was screaming from the second injection.

Hello Dr. Patel, I am so disappointed in your staff. From…read morethe time I called to get information from the front desk, to check on the authorization and referral for the Botox and now the Billing. It seems that the ladies at the front desk, alone with the ones in the back ( the one that's in charge of the authorization and referrals and Sam that's in the Billing Department are giving out conflicting information. Each time I called to check on the authorization for the Botox I was given a different answer. I didn't get that straight until I called my insurance and they called over to the office. Now I received a bill for $262.30 that I wasn't prepared for. I called the office today, Sam told me when I asked what was this she replied and I quote that's what you owe your potion. Your insurance paid their part again and I quote. I asked why I wasn't told ahead of time about this copayment? She said that the front desk should've told me that I had a copayment. I replied they didn't. My ins called because they couldn't find the bill they found out it was under the nurse practitioners name. Sam said the front desk should've told me the front desk said no we don't give you that information Billing does and I quote. Dr Patel this is very dysfunctional the way they're running the front of the office. Had I known that I had to pay 20% I never would've agreed to get the Botox injections. Now I'm walking around with a lifted eyebrow due to the Botox after I did my research and how am I going to get this fixed now that I don't plan to get anymore treatments because I can't pay for them? I am truly sickened and disappointed over this. This has nothing to do with the care that you render. I'm very satisfied with that. This star rating only refers to Dr Patel, his nurse and his nurse practitioner.

You feel better when someone tells you a honest answer, and doesn't try and sell you on a surgery you may not need. I would go back without reservations for orthopaedic concerns. He gave me insights to alternatives I had researched which was also gracious.
