5 Stars -- A must‑visit spot for gamers in Lawton Game King…read moreis easily one of the best gaming shops in the area. They've got everything -- from rare retro titles to the newest releases, plus controllers, accessories, and collectibles. If you're into nostalgia, this place hits hard. Shelves full of classics, clean displays, and prices that actually make sense. What really sets them apart is the knowledge. The staff knows consoles inside and out -- old school, new school, handhelds, mods, repairs, all of it. You can ask them anything and they'll break it down without making you feel rushed. It's the kind of shop where you walk in for one thing and end up staying just to talk games. Whether you're a collector, a casual player, or hunting for something specific, Game King is the spot. Great energy, great selection, and people who genuinely love what they do.

The…read moreemployees are, for the most part, either rude or just don't care and usually are not very knowledgeable with the excepting of one employee with black hair and darker skin without glasses (I don't wanna name names). For example: I went in the other day looking for a game for my new PS4. There was a dirty blond hair guy working and another guy in the shop, I don't think he was an employee since I've never seen him there before (or after) the event. Well he (the employee) recommended the game I wanted for the PS4, and said they would not have the game I was looking for until the following Friday at the soonest. Well I was willing to wait until then, and the employee proceeded to go back to looking at his computer. The other guy proceeded to help me with picking out another game for my PS4, and called the employee out and told him the he should help me with recommending games. He (the employee) said that they didn't have the game I wanted and there was nothing he could do about it. I left after taking that other guys advice and buying a great game he recommended. The employee did nothing but tell me when they would have the game I originally came in for, and take my money when buying the game that other customer helped me pick. I bought that game I was looking for at the other Gameking. Overall this use to be a nice game store, now its filled with rude employees. Not all are bad, there is one employee that is always helpful and stuff. Just not my place to really shop now unless I can't get to GameStop or the other GameKing. Fire some employees and maybe you'll do better. The only thing keeping me from giving it one star is the one employee I mentioned in the first paragraph, and out of the general fact that this GameKing is still slightly better at some things then GameStops.
