I have enjoyed shopping at Redbird books for years. This week, however, I went in with my sister…read moreto turn in a box of books from my mother and a box of books from myself. My sister and I had both come from out of town to help our mother out. When we arrived, there was a sign on the door indicating that they could only accept one box of books per person because they were running behind on processing the books. Although we had more books to turn in, we attempted to submit only two boxes. The woman at the counter was not friendly or apologetic at all, and said they could only accept one box from the two of us. We pointed out that it was two separate people with two separate accounts, but she rudely said, "Still no." It is not the fact that they would not accept two boxes from two people that was upsetting. It was the fact that they were clearly not honoring the sign that hung on the front door. It will be a long while before I return, and I hope that employee is no longer there, as in the past, we have always had excellent service there.

On this particular evening, I was mesmerized by my gas rather than literature however, I will be sure to return for the ladder. The bartender was not only skillful. She was courteous and pleasant, and on point when it came to a Sazerac, which I truly enjoyed. Kudos to both her and her employer. There is no question that I will return.
