I went around back and all of the books are boxed up in a crumbling warehouse that is falling apart, it looks like no one has been here in years and all of the books That are not boxed up and covered with a giant tarp are exposed to the elements just sitting there rotting away. Very sad to see this place like this, but I didn't want anyone driving out here only to discover that the bookstore no longer exists.

Luckily, Kailyn, a lovely employee at the store, aided in helping me find the perfect cookbook for my needs, authored by the wonderful Martha Stewart! It's a treasure trove of unique community cookbooks from ladies' auxiliaries, churches, schools, and local organizations that you simply cannot find anywhere else. Beyond the books, the prices are amazing, the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is just perfect for browsing. It's the complete package. My only wish is that they would open a location in the RGV so I wouldn't have to drive so far! Until then, we'll gladly make the pilgrimage.
