Melanie seems like a very nice lady and her studio is lovely and comfortable. I confess however, that I was bothered by her insistence that I be "just so" regarding placement on the table. 20 years of monthly massages and no one has ever worried so keenly over my alignment, left to right. I also felt Melanie was a bit brusque in mannerism and touch. This is not the relaxing massage I expected, although I did feel she went deep in some troubled areas. The only problem--I'm hurting (really hurting) many days later. I won't go back, I'm not an athlete and I just don't need that depth in a monthly massage. If you're older or infirm, I'd choose another therapist.

Melanie is definitely exceptional. I've had a LOT of massages because I live with chronic pain, and Melanie is definitely up there in terms of skill and technique. She seems to intuitively know exactly where the pain is and she was really good about checking in with me on how I was doing in terms of her pressure, etc. She knew exactly what my body needed. I will definitely be back because she is a really great therapist.

I walked in and Nina was at the front and I said "okay I think I talked to you on the phone." And she dismissed me, and I asked if I could order the chai, and she was very cold and short with me, and when she brand the chai out it was all watered down, with no milk and hardly tasted like chai at all. This was very personal for Nina to treat us this way because she wasn't happy that I requested a to go order and it was obvious by the way she acted towards me. I even asked how they made the chai, because I was a little skeptical of how watered down it was and how there was no milk. I got a short "oh it's just the same process as always." And then I asked "okay so where do you get the chai from?" And she said "it's just a tea ." Sarcastically. I was so looking forward to purchasing the chai from here this morning and Nina ruined that. I am never coming back and don't recommend anyone coming here if they care about quality or customer service or chai. Update : I asked to at-least be refunded the $13 I spent on the chai and Nina said "I'm going to put you on hold for a minute" and then 10 minutes later still nothing, the call dropped. I am so shocked that this establishment has let this happen to me.
