We were in the same building that afternoon for another Dr appt and afterwards decided to go to Dr Brochners office upstairs and again try to make an appt. the waiting room was packed and when the girl came to the window she stated, " just have a seat, I have to check in a couple of people". Really? So we patiently sat for about 10-15 minutes before deciding they didn't care if we were there or not. This has to be the worst run office I've ever seen! Seriously. I've been with countless parents, aunts, grand parents , spouses , children to probably 100's of spots and never seen this type of blatant disregard and rudeness. I m sure the Dr has at least a suspicion this is happening. Hopefully she takes action soon. I over heard several elderly ladies complaining about extremely long waits.

But Gupta told me she wasn't involved in any data checking or appointment decision making until I went to ER. She said it was all on the nurse practitioner. - What?! Why?! She said it was strange I was scheduled at week 11. It's usually week 8. - Whose responsibility?! Who's bearing the consequences? I asked her how I know if there was ever a fetal pole or not, she said "ya we don't know." 2) the nurse practitioner, Mahnaz, just kept telling me even an earlier sonogram wouldn't make any change to the result. - what about the data for me to know what actually happened? And she just did what every OB would do. - without asking her OB? She told me she didn't know I tried to make an earlier appointment. It was all the front desk girl. - Seriously?! At the end, she just told me "I need to go to see my patient. You can talk to the office manager because you and I are not getting anywhere!" Next thing I knew, she slammed the door and left me in the room by myself. - What a jerk! It hurts like so many bad words. I'm surprised she does this for living. She should be fired. 3) If you want to get their attention, consider to share your experience here, they will call you right away. ---- Worst experience! No matter how much I told the NP, Mahnaz, after I signed up to Gupta about my advanced age and my last miscarriage which was within a year, the NP just gave me very broad info intake and 2 blood work in week 5. I had to be the one to request for blood work in week 6 when I saw my HCG wasn't doubling. No more blood work scheduled till the miscarriage. My first sonogram was scheduled at week 11. - Ridiculous! I called and requested a few times to have an earlier sonogram. I was told the Dr said it's not necessary!!! I feel very dismissed from this place on me or whatever risk I am going through. One star bc there's no zero star option. Just know that all the negative reviews here and on Google are not coincidence.

Shortly after , at 18 weeks Dr Walsh found that my cervix weakened due to a Leap Procedure I had done for cancer cells. Dr. Walsh did a Cerclage on me and unfortunately I was then put on strict bedrest. Going to our weekly sonograms, we went through many scares. One was so bad.. Four day passes and I am still bleeding I called again to let my dr know what was going on and front office person scheduled me to go in again to get more blood work done, the phlebotomy tech couldnt find a vein and told me I had to come back and reschedule. I have been a patient of Dr. Okoro since 2019, when I lived in Allen, and I want to start by making…read moreone thing very clear: Dr. Okoro herself has been an outstanding physician. She is down-to-earth, attentive, personable, and has taken very good care of me over the years. I have recommended her to others because I genuinely believe she is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately, my experience with the office staff and overall communication has become increasingly disappointing over the past few years. I am not someone who typically leaves negative reviews, and I have overlooked previous issues because of how much I respect and appreciate Dr. Okoro. However, there comes a point when repeated poor communication and a lack of consideration for a patient's time can no longer be overlooked. Today was ultimately that point for me. I had a virtual appointment scheduled for 11:20 a.m. By 11:30, I had received no link or communication, so I reached out to the office myself. I was told that Dr. Okoro was running behind, which I completely understood. Doctors run behind, emergencies happen, and schedules change. My issue was not the delay--it was the lack of communication that followed. I continued waiting with no link and no proactive update from the office. By after 12:00 p.m., I still had not received anything. Had I not contacted the office myself, I have no idea how long I would have continued waiting. I was eventually contacted about changing my appointment, but at that point I chose to cancel. I have a professional schedule, meetings, responsibilities, and commitments just like everyone else. A patient's time should be respected as well. What makes this especially disappointing is that this was not an isolated incident. I have experienced similar communication and scheduling issues before, and even people I have referred to the practice have expressed similar concerns. When I first became a patient years ago, the office was smaller and the communication was excellent. I cannot speak to what has changed operationally, whether it is scheduling, staffing, or patient volume, but the difference has been noticeable. After several years of trying to overlook these issues because I genuinely love my doctor, I have finally made the difficult decision to find a new primary care physician. That is unfortunate because Dr. Okoro is truly a wonderful doctor, and leaving her care is not something I wanted to do. I would still highly recommend Dr. Okoro based on her ability, bedside manner, and the care she personally provides. However, prospective patients should be mindful that communication and scheduling consistency with the office staff have been an ongoing concern in my experience. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken constructively because an outstanding physician deserves an office experience that reflects the same level of professionalism and care that she personally provides.
