I had visited Dr McQuaid several times about treatment but in finally following up this year no one would return my calls and he wanted to use anesthesia for his procedures making it much more expensive. Dr Fritz has been a pleasure to work with and once I have some good pre and post procedure pics I'll be sure to post! I had a disappointing experience with this provider. I underwent two different procedures that did not resolve my issue. When trying to understand the ongoing swelling in my leg, I attempted three separate times to schedule an appointment with the doctor. Each time, I was seen by a PA instead, without that being clearly communicated in advance. I was told it wasn't a significant concern and didn't need to be addressed. After seeking a second opinion from another vein specialist, I learned that the issue does, in fact, require further treatment and that the original treatment plan was not effective. read more

Totally unethical group. Went there in July for treatment and overpaid. I have been fighting with them since for the $40 since. Constantly say they will call me back after investigating further and never do. Told me twice a "check was in the mail". I write this review with mixed feelings. I have been an ideal candidate for this procedure from being hereditary, as well as for the kind of work I due standing all day, the amount of physical activity I put my legs through, and yes even vanity. Also, I could full heartedly recommend this to my fellow hairdressers, and athletes. I didn't acknowledge my legs until my GP at Uptown Physicians recommend me to see The Dallas Vein Institute. So, I booked what I thought was consultant, and then I would leave to think about when or if I'd go through with the "Treatment Plan". I'm honestly very naive when it comes to Insurace, which has been a blessing all these years to never have had to use it. Though on my first visit being close to the end of the year. I was told by the office manager (who coincidentally is the Dr's wife) that it would be to my benefit to do the recommended "Treatment Plan" based on the fact I was approximately $1,200 away from my out of pocket with insurance, and if I waited I'd have tp pay until my out of pocket was covered. ($7,900) So, I agreed to the 10 plus visits, and treatments that went on for 3 months. I did so because I was told by the doctor the if prolonged it could lead to clotting, ulceration, and maybe pooling. So, at that point vanity would be the least of my worries. As well as only paying the $1,200, initial $182.00, and $70.00 for support hose. That doesn't include the time to schedule the 14 separate visits before years end. Unfortunately, the years end led to an in complete "treatment plan", and no explanation on why. Other than to start a new treatment plan to finalize the two very obvious varicose veins that were given 4 separate procedures that resulted in less than satisfactory results. I could go on. I'm just very disappointed in what started off to be an awesome experience. On a positive note very clean facility, and a very friendly personable staff. Oh, and after every procedure the doctor would looks beautiful. Hmm... Months later I still received a bill? Latest photo 1 year after procedure . Looks worse than when I came in. Dr. Batra was an absolute pleasure and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I had 4 thermal ablations and 2 Sclerotherapy treatments to cure my vein issues and treat my varicose veins. Betty was an angel and the sweetest ever, Jessica was awesome and kept me laughing, Angela and Briana were so helpful throughout the entire process. My legs feel and look amazing and aren't heavy at the end of the day or hurting after a day of a lot of walking. My varicose veins were so unsightly that I was so self conscious about wearing shorts and dresses and I can proudly say this entire team gave me my legs and my confidence back. I had an amazing experience here, I would highly recommend this practice to anyone needing vein correction or even just more information about any sort of vein condition you might be experiencing. It was completely worth it! Dr. Batra is attentive, detailed and caring. I immediately felt comfortable with him and the team/. He is a self proclaimed perfectionist, and that is super important when working with your vascular system. They also keep it fun and light hearted, and try to make the patient as comfortable and knowledgeable as possible. The office team is also awesome - Angela and Jessica are both super attentive and will work with you. They really make it an easy and worthwhile experience.
