They also have fried chicken, fried "burritos", chimichangas, hamburgers, pizza and more. The soda fountain includes several flavors of "aguas frescas" but are artificially flavored, the iced tea is fresh brewed. Bathrooms are clean and nice. The fuel prices are about 20 cents higher than in town. At least today. Overall, it's a nice place to stop for good food choices and road trip supplies.

They stopped my brother with my car that I had just purchased and had the signed title in the car…read more They didnt allow my brothers girlfriend to grab her purse or my brothers wallet or belongings from the car and they left her on the side of the road and towed the car. We went the following day to pick up and they kept denying our calls and the moment my mom tried to call and they heard her speak spanish they instantly started treating her with disrespect and were just being dismissive towards her and told her they would block her number if she kept calling but my mom was just trying to get the title from the car since they had asked for it. We called the sheriff that afternoon but by the time they showed up it was "past their business hours" so sheriff couldn't do much and told us they asked us to bring another form. The day after I went to retrieve the car but they asked for title and insurance, the title was still left in the glove compartment and they did not let me grab it because "thats what everybody says" according to them.. they asked for me to get a notarized form from previous owner to be able to go in and get it. Well we got said form and they deny our calls and keep hanging up and they dont open the gate either. We have call log records where we have been waiting hours since before business is "supposed" to close (which ultimately they have different hours all over their yelp and google). They are a horrible business that is just trying to bank off people. We will definitely be submitting a higher complaint towards their business, it has been 4 days and we have still not been able go retrieve my vehicle. ***UPDATE*** Finally got the car. Was charged $761 because they couldn't answer so I could get it sooner. Also my car was completely open, my brothers phone is missing and his money and his gold bracelet with his name is missing, and the Car title that was in the vehicle is missing. Another worker helped us and they didn't even have the car into he lot they took it to another (which they didn't communicate to begin with) and then he begged for us to not file the complaint, which we still will be doing.

They did a great job with my repair and were done within about 20 minutes from start to finish. The crack is still somewhat noticeable but I expected that due to the size and shape. The representative stated they were unsure of the reason but acknowledged that confirmation emails sometimes are not sent. However, they verbally confirmed our appointment date and time. On October 7, I received an automated phone message confirming the appointment and asking me to call back. Within two minutes, I attempted to return the call three times, but no one answered, and there was no option to leave a voicemail. I then sent a text message confirming that we would be available for the appointment. On the morning of October 8, I called the local office again to explain what had happened. Once again, I was assured that our appointment was scheduled for that day between 12:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Unfortunately, when we attempted to contact the office that morning, we were unable to reach anyone or leave a message. We then contacted your complaint department, whose representative also attempted to call the local office without success. We subsequently contacted corporate, and they, too, were unable to reach the location. What makes this situation particularly upsetting is that we have a close family member in the hospital. We specifically rescheduled plans to move her to rehabilitation because we were relying on Safelite to arrive during the confirmed appointment window. We made this decision in good faith based on repeated assurances from your company. I understand that unexpected circumstances can occur, and I recognize that our personal situation is not necessarily your company's responsibility. However, our time matters, and customers should be able to rely on confirmed appointments and receive basic communication when a company cannot fulfill its commitment. We made multiple attempts to verify the appointment and communicate with your staff, yet we were left unable to get answers or even speak with someone at the local office. My husband and I used Safelite throughout our 25 years living in Colorado, and we never experienced anything like this. We trusted your company based on those positive experiences. Unfortunately, our experience with the McAllen-area location has been entirely different. After this incident, I also began looking at customer reviews and was disappointed to see numerous negative reviews reflecting similar concerns. This experience has seriously undermined our confidence in Safelite. A company should not repeatedly confirm an appointment and leave customers to rearrange important family obligations, only to make itself unreachable when communication is needed. I am asking corporate to investigate what happened, explain why the local office was unreachable despite repeated attempts by both customers and your own departments, and clarify what steps will be taken to prevent this from happening to other customers. We chose Safelite because of our longstanding trust in your company. It is extremely disappointing to feel that the reliability and customer service we experienced in Colorado are not reflected in our experience in the McAllen area.
