You can feel they truly care about their patients and they have always made my times here a great experience! The recommendations and treatments they provide are specific for the issue and it has made a positive difference for me. They do everything they can to help you get well again and I really like their approach of trying to help the body heal with natural treatments before going to medications, while not avoiding medication if necessary. In general everything about this clinic is fantastic. The people are very nice, the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant, the food is healthy and very good, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. And they are continuously improving and expanding the facilities to meet the patients' needs as well as adding to their list of specialized treatments. Love this place!

I have been visiting Dr. James for the past 20 years, and I can say full heartedly he is the reason I am here today. Dr. James gave me a second opportunity to see my children grow up, by helping me with all the illnesses I have endured over the past years. Dr. James is quite frankly, a saving grace to my life. I want to thank Dr. James and all the staff at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, who have helped me throughout these years, not just by helping me, but as well as my entire family. My entire family is a patient of Dr. James and will remain as so, god forbid. There's a reason I met Dr. James when he came to visit Houston, he was the saving grace God sent to heal me. I just once again want to thank Dr. James and the entire staff at the Good Samaritan Medical Center thank you from the bottom of my heart. If anyone is looking for a doctor that truly cares about you and will help you get healthy once again, please visit Dr. James at the Good Samaritan Medical Center; I recommend him and his staff 100%.

These people are on a first name patients with their patients & not just the Doctors, the entire staff! Once we got in to her exam room, the Medical Assistant, Jesse was taking her vitals & I told him that my Grandfather passed away & if there was anything he could do to get us through the appointment fast, it would be greatly appreciated because his services were in just a few hours. This staff sprung in to action! Jeff Taylor, the Nurse Practitioner who she was assigned to came in to the exam room, looked straight in to her eyes and sincerely apologized for her loss. He addressed her pain and distress in a professional and compassionate manor & we were on our way in no time. On the way out, she was hugged and greeted by this wonderful staff. I live in Los Angeles and can't be with my Grandmother but I'm so grateful for this caring staff & feel relieved that they care for her so well. It eases my mind like you wouldn't believe. Thank you, I know she is in good hands with you!

I've been coming to San Vicente off and on for years. San Vicente is a good choice for those who…read moredon't want to spend thousands of dollars on healthcare costs or are uninsured. I believe you can still go if insured. I go to the clinic on Alameda but there's others around town. I think the other clinics are in the eastside and downtown. Before getting an appointment, they'll ask you to register first. You can make an appointment to do this or just show up. If you just show up, the wait could be hours. You have to show them proof of your residency (a utility bill with your name and address) and check stubs from employment. They like to see check stubs from one month, so two to four recent ones. My co-pays have typically been $25. Getting bloodwork done has run around $20 for me. It all depends on whether or not you're offered a discount when you register. I also purchase prescriptions here, which are also a bargain compared to other places. If you go in as a walk-in, be prepared to wait at least three or four hours. For the costs I pay, I think it's worth it. They open at 6:30 am. It's best to get there as early as possible. I usually get there at 9 or 10 am. It's usually already packed by that time. I think there needs to be more clinics like this. I forgot to mention...San Vicente also has a dental clinic. I have not been. I've liked all of the doctors and nurse practitioners here. I'm pretty bad with names but they've always been female. I prefer that. Yup, I'll be coming back!

When they called us, they gave us very specific information and guided us through the process. They also followed up by sending us two reminder texts to be sure we did not forget the date. When we arrived, the staff quickly told us where to park and within minutes they greeted us and described how they were going to proceed. Very professional and efficient operation. We never had to leave our car and we were driving home in less that 40 minutes. That included a 15 minute post shot period to see if we had any side effects. Thank you management and staff of Centro San Vicente. Great Job.
