Master Quay, Mister Jeff, and the rest of the incredible staff made us feel right at home. First off, we learned right away that we were learning Youn Wha system, I couldn't tell you what system of martial arts we were learning before, but it was incredibly modified. We had to learn to properly chamber punches and kicks, and even some new techniques that were not taught at our previous school. With help from the instructors, and a little hard work, we got caught up quickly. Since then my family has gone on to compete in tournaments, gain confidence, and meet new people all over the country, that have been very supportive of our family. We now have two black belts, a red belt, a blue belt, and a green belt. I would strongly recommend Talon Martial Arts for anyone looking to loose a few pounds, learn leadership skills, gain additional confidence, all while meeting great people.

I researched every jiu jitsu school in the North Dallas area for months and even took a few intro classes. However, something always felt a bit off; and so I never committed to any particular school. Knowing what to look for, I did not want to settle on just any school. Then I learned that GB Frisco was going to open near me. I met with the owners Peter and Rose Bianchi and instantly felt like I finally found the right place. First and foremost, this school has a great atmosphere. From the professors down to the coaches; everyone is friendly, humble, and always happy to help anyone regardless of skill level. The gym is state of the art and very clean. They come from a strong lineage, therefore, the curriculum is tried and proven to be effective for both self defense and sports competition. They have an exceptional kids/adult program and there are classes to fit anyone's schedule throughout the day. But the best part... it feels like a second home. So, yeah, I definitely recommend GB Frisco!
