I was suspicious and was shocked because the issue did not seem that extreme. Started calling other electricians to get their opinion and they both said it was unnecessary and to instead simply splice the bad wire right at the box, easy fix shouldn't be more than $100 total for parts and labor! I called back and JNL said they could do it for $428. Wait I thought we HAD TO DO the $1,600 job because of "safety and regulations". I told the lady I would be going with another electrician. She sounded irritated with me and ended the call. Then I got an invoice for $250. Do not believe their website when they say they offer free quotes this is a lie. Please stay away from this shady company, get another opinion or consultation somewhere else. So sad how careful you have to be these days to not get scammed...

The septic company said the lift pump wasn't working because the GFI outlet had been underwater during the hurricane. I called Matt at Outlet Electric based on the previous review on Yelp, first company I spoke to also. I told him I wasn't in a hurry to get the plug replaced but needed him to come take care of it some time. He volunteered to come out right away if I really needed it. I said no and booked an appointment later. His guys were timely, very nice, extremely professional and got the job done quickly. I received an email invoice that was very fair for the work done and the travel time required to get to my house. I like to work with local people, these guys are local to me. My impression was that these guys know what they are doing and are professional. I would highly recommend their services!!! They just seem to be good regular people trying to do a professional job at a fair price.

Friendly and well priced electrical services…read more We hired this group to come to our house to consult on a number of electrical issues. This included wall switches getting hot, poorly lit areas and a pool pump. Rudy and his team were friendly, informative and helpful. They did not try to up/over sell us. Their recommendations were to replace incandescent can lights with LEDs, add a whole home surge protector and call an appliance repair company for one item instead of them trying to service a wine refrigerator. They also fixed our pool pump. Overall, a good experience and in my view not overly priced. I'd recommend this company without reservation.

Very few people in the business would have even taken the time to help like Terri did, much less lose business by telling the customer exactly what to do themselves. My highest praise for this family-owned and operated business.
