Service was good. But the cheeseburger I'm pretty sure was burnt The place was nice d The fries were way too salty and bad Lemonade was bussing though.

    12 Ribeye cooked MR

Friday busy with a wait of 40 minutes for 2. Been awhile as they never get my wife's steak cooked correctly and they did that again tonight. My 12 oz ribeye was okay. Not much true steak flavor but was tender. Wife gave me her last bit of sirloin and it was chewy so not very good. Service was excellent

Best place to eat in Richmond. Fast and friendly service. Great food with lots of options. Music you can hear but not too loud.

Typically good food and service. Occasionally it isn't as good. The last 2 times service hasn't been nearly as good.

It's a chain steakhouse. The rolls are the best part about it. Salads are ok. Service is typical; sometimes good, sometimes not so good.

Not starting off very well. Service is beyond slow and the waiter screwed up the drink order. Yes,…read moreI seen him write it down. We received silverware, with a knife or a fork missing. One person did not receive any. I ordered the chef salad with thousand island dressing. Salad was of a good portion but the dressing had very little taste. My wife got the Greek salad and hers tasted fine. My beer (tall draft) Michelob Lite and it arrived flat. I'm going to add that we were here with another couple who said they have been here a dozen times before and the service was never like this. Maybe I'd come back and give it another chance, but not impressed today. Waiting on check, I hope they serve breakfast

I even saw a snuggery for goodness' sake. And I am SO sitting there when we return soon for a meal. It was just a couple beers this first visit. It's just brick and old wood everywhere you look. Tiffany lamps. It's gorgeous and dark. The beer garden is a big comfy outdoor area, walled off from the street, with tons of tables, all with big umbrellas, plus a comfy couch under its own shelter. I saw four giant heaters ready for the wintertime. The taproom and beer garden are strictly 21+. There's a pulltab dispenser machine for your gambling pleasure. The menu looks interesting, unfortunately nothing on offer that's really English other than fish and chips which is a shame. The atmosphere just cries out for black pudding or a shepherds pie. So I'm really rating 4 1/2 on that account but definitely rounding up, as it is such a cozy feelgood place.

But don't hesitate to get in here, just watch your step a bit. It's dim and romantic with a retro vibe. We ate at the bar which always tends to give a good feel for a new place. There were two barmaids who came and went as they had to serve tables too, but service was quite attentive. We were primarily served by Melissa (I hope I remembered her name right!) and she was so helpful with answering questions. We happened to come on the half price app day** so naturally we tried the Breaking Bread... incredible, easily sufficient for four people to share. It was warm, soft, cheesy and full of flavor. The marinara was delicious as was the blended cheese dip. We took half home and enjoyed it the next day. My husband had the smoked salmon sandwich. It was beautiful to behold, smelled so delectable, and off the charts delicious. After I took a bite I was jealous. I did thoroughly enjoy my BLT+E with a wonderful runny egg and thick fresh tomato. I think I would have liked it better on toasted bread vs. the bun. Everything on the menu sounded good. I had a peek at the brunch menu too. I had a cocktail called the Farm Market which was so refreshing and like a taste of summer which I needed badly on this bitter cold evening. They have a great cocktail list and of course an extensive wine list which is set up in unique categories and fun to read. My husband was happy with his wine. They also have port! Four kinds! Melissa kindly gave me a taste of one and I am SO coming back for a port flight. A word on accessibility- the main entrance has two steps up and there are sturdy grab bars on both sides but you do need to be a bit cautious at the bottom. I was told there is a rear or side entry that is wheelchair accessible. It was way too cold to explore but I'll check it out on our next visit in the very near future. If you're thinking of giving the Cork a try, don't hesitate. It's fabulous. **Yelp advises they are removing Tips (boo) so I'll note again here that apps are half price all night on Thursdays.

I would have left hungry if it hadn't been for the appetizer…read more My dining partner ordered the cheesy Chicago dip, and I ordered the chimichanga. Both appetizers were delicious. The sauce for the chimichangas could have had more of a Southwest cake taste and not a dill taste, but overall, it was delicious. I ordered the beef tallow smash burger with ranch-battered fries. The fries were hot and crispy and had great flavor and texture. On the other hand, the burger was burnt chard and tasted like three full salt shakers were put on it. The bun was not toasted but black and burnt. It was edible. My dining partner ordered a mustard-glazed chicken with roasted potatoes and broccoli. The potatoes and broccoli were delicious, but the mustard sauce tasted like a bottle of mustard that had been opened and dumped on the chicken. Again, this meal was edible. She then ordered shrimp tacos, which came out nicely presented and tasted fairly well. The shrimp was grilled, but it was also kind of burnt. Whoever the kitchen staff is does not need to be cooking in the kitchen. They did a horrible job, a poor representation of this beautifully decorated, excellent-location restaurant. The wait staff was personable and charming. She had multiple tables, so getting refills was difficult, but when we had her attention, she made the experience quite pleasant.

Inside you get the brick wall warehouse feel and it's not phony. The bar is well stocked. If you like the minimalist feel you may enjoy sitting on backless round stools, but if not, this makes the bar not a place to linger. That's too bad as it's a beauty otherwise. The dining room offers some seats in the window where you can people watch while dining. It did get a little chilly though. There is an open second floor seating area for busy times. I was delighted with the trendy and thoughtfully curated cocktail list, and that Cranberry Limoncello refresher was perfect. The menu is chef driven and very creative- unique twists like rice krispies in the batter of the Monte Cristo, and Prime Rib on the Poutine. I really liked the Monte but would have loved it with some syrup, sorry I didn't ask. Husband had the Poutine, I got a taste of course and that meaty flavor just permeated the waffle fries perfectly. But they had me at Scotch Eggs. I don't think those can be had anywhere else in a three county radius. They were masterfully executed, so good that we got another order to go. Service was polite and professional, but it was incredibly rushed. So much so that it knocks off a star. Hope that was an exception or off-day for the waiter, who was otherwise polite and knowledgeable. I know I'll be back before long.
