Texas Roadhouse checks all the boxes. Really stellar service! I so appreciate that. We were shown to a comfortable booth by the window, the rolls were piping hot and just perfect with the cinnamon butter. We were early enough for the specials at 12.99 per meal. Instead, we opted for the sirloin and bbq chicken served along side a masterful sweet potato with warm and crusted marshmallows. This was pretty fantastic. We also ordered the smothered chicken with the cream gravy. It was loaded with beefy mushrooms, sautéed onions over grilled chicken. Very satisfying. The cactus blossom was surprisingly good with a very light crunch and not greasy. We had to try the rattlesnake bites. Nice spice and creamy with little jalapeños inside. On this day, they were a bit salty and the salt really competed and overtook the taste. Overall, this meal and the whole experience was very pleasant. We will certainly return because the prices are also reasonable and that is helpful when they still serve up some tasty grub.

It is much quieter at lunch than dinner. But they are only open for lunch Friday through Sunday, especially on a cold snowy day. I has a gift card to use so I decided to come get some of those rolls. The food is always good. I got the sirloin steak but wished I got the ribeye steak since it is more tender. Since they had honey French dressing, I got a side salad and the green beans since they are seasoned with pork along with the onions. I ate the salad there and a sampling of the steak and green beans since the salad and the rolls are so filling. The steak, green beans, and rolls heated up well the next day. The service was friendly and efficient. They had plenty of help. It is very country and the music is a little loud but you can't argue with the prices. My meal was $26. I will be back when I get hungry for those rolls.

Ton of menu options, I would avoid the smaller steaks, I know the steaks shrink a bit when cooking but our kids 6oz and 8oz steaks looked like 4oz filets.... tiny and over cooked. My 20oz Porterhouse was delicious. Maybe order a larger steak and split it instead of the petite cuts. We ended up with a couple missing sides and one of the half ribs was short a few "bones". Everything was fixed pretty quick. Server noticed the rib issue herself when setting the plate down and manager delivered the extra ribs and apologized. The place was super packed but service was great the entire time. All the tables were full and about 30 people were waiting in the front for seats bit the servers kept smiling, music was playing, and the overall vibe was pretty upbeat. Great place to take your family out for a fun dinner. Parking was tight... we were lucky to grab a spot, when we were walking out there were trucks parked on the grass all around the restaurant. Other note: Flavored Sodas didn't taste that good and the blooming onion (cactus blossom) was oily and soggy.

One of my favorite steakhouses. Always busy. Join the waitlist and you're fine . No one can resist the rolls and cinnamon butter. A bit loud but in a good way.

The best and tastiest table bread I have ever tasted plus the sweet butter really elevated the flavor. Everything ordered was on point and delicious. Can't go wrong with any order and great for big families.

Steak & Ribs with side of Mac & cheese = nasty meal!

Dined in on a Sunday evening and it was very busy. Party of 2 and had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Place was very loud and crowded. The complimentary bread and butter was the best part of the meal. The rest of the dining experience went down hill from there. Waitress said she would bring us peanuts since bucket was completely empty when she took the drink order. She never brought any. Husband and I both ordered Caesar salads with our meals. Different waiter than ours brought the salad. Husband got one but they didn't have one for me. Tried to get waiters attention but he walked away. Husband finished his entire salad and our waitress never came to the table. Husband's lettuce was browning and he had to pick around the pieces. Yuck! Waitress came to clear husband's salad plate and we let her know I never got my salad. She said how could that be?! She apologized when she returned with the salad, but unfortunately the meal came out at the same time. Not ideal, but okay fine. My salad was worse than my husbands. Lettuce was browning and dressing was watery like salad had been plated earlier and sat in fridge to drip. Gross! The worst part of the meal... the actual dinner. Steak was tough and chewy. Quality of meat that I would feed my dog. So much salt on the meat. The ribs were full of fat. Hardly any meat on them. Sauce was okay on ribs. The macaroni and cheese was absolutely flavorless. Kraft mac and cheese from the box tastes better than this place. For a bbq place, I expected much better than what I got. I can't describe how disappointing it was to spend almost $30 on such a garbage dinner. Husband said his was okay, nothing special and wouldn't get it again. Waiter never came back to the table the entire meal. Terrible customer service! I will never return here. I told my husband that I wished we would have saved the almost $75 that we spent and had a nice dinner elsewhere. Never again!

There is an entrance for just the restaurant which makes it easier to enter. There is also close parking next to it. I had no wait on a Friday evening, which I'm sure isn't common, but I was also there about1 hour 30 minute - 2 hours to closing so it could be why. I was still given great service and a wonderful cooked dish. I ordered a mocktail (virgin spring in wing) that had was supposed to have smashed strawberries. I barely tasted the strawberry (I did not have some in the drink) as the soda water overpowered everything thing else. I probably should have said something, but I didn't. If I order next time I will. There were many great things on the menu, but I opted for the bone in pork chop. While I waited I did ask if they had bread service and they have corn bread. First I was like "hmmmm idk". Once it came to the table I loved it. I usually don't butter my corn bread, but I tried their butter with it and I enjoyed the pairing. It was perfectly cooked well enough how pork should be, but still tender so it wasn't dry. It had this whiskey sweet fruity glaze over it which was delicious. I would have preferred it on the side, but that's just a personal preference. The green beans weren't soggy, they had a slight crisp to them. A great flavor. I opted out of the loaded baked potato and just got a plain with butter , sour cream and chives. Overall for what I ordered I didn't think the price to be too unreasonable. However, this place can get pricy with other things on the menu. Their menu might also change because I seen photos of this place and those items weren't on the menu. I would come here again for a dinner alone, with my spouse and even with friends.

The meats are cooked on the premises in large black smokers that line one side of a large, modern, industrial space. I liked the restaurant's aesthetics. Sunlight streamed through large floor-to-ceiling windows; the dark ceiling highlighted the white ductwork, and the cement floors added to the restaurant's vibe. Guests order their preferred meats by weight at the counter. I ordered brisket, seasoned with house spices and drizzled with honey. At the time of ordering, guests pay for their meal and later receive a check to add a tip. A server brings your meal to your table, along with a beverage and several sides and sauces. The brisket was well-prepared; it was tender and had a nice bark. Flavored rice, roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes, salsa, and more accompanied the meal. All was good, even though I try not to indulge in carbs. I love the sauces (barbecue, honey mustard, chimichurri, hot sauce, and more), but I couldn't identify all of them. The server was efficient and professional and checked on me throughout the meal.

Table settings were missing silverware, so we had to wait to eat (even though we had food at our table). The server was spotty on checking in on us - by the time she made it back to the table, we were completely out of drinks / rice. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll come back. There's just too many other places to eat at where the service really makes or breaks the experience.

It seems they've had some managerial turnover and the change while not huge has been noticeable. They are coming up with a lot more variety with their nightly food and even dessert specials. Some I have never seen in this restaurant before. Several of them have been seafood dishes but the one I want to point out in this review is their new Double Bone-In Pork Chop with an Apricot Horseradish glaze. It's outstanding!!! The Chop is flavorful, tender, and a very large cut. I feel it's better than their ribs and pork tenderloin, but that might just be me. And if your leery about the glaze, which is not too heavy and delicious, I'm sure they can put it on the side. But, I bet you're going to love it!

My husband and I went out for our anniversary and thought this would be a nice steakhouse. We walked in feeling overdressed and had a table with a family including kids watching shows loudly on a phone right next to us. My biggest issue, though, was I ordered a mocktail (I forget the name, but it was an espresso martini made with non-alcoholic spirits) directly from the menu, exactly how it's listed in there, and was brought a regular espresso martini. I took one sip and could tell the difference. When I asked my server if it was in fact the one I ordered, she told me she rung in a regular one. I was 8 months pregnant at the time, so this was not great. While she was very apologetic and corrected the error, this was a big mishap.

They use very tacky fluorescent lit lamps instead of candles at each table which doesn't match the warm lighting throughout the rest of the establishment. This took some getting used to but was not a huge issue. I started with a glass of wine and shrimp cocktail. The large shrimp were about as fresh as you can expect in Michigan and quite good but the house made cocktail sauce was underwhelming and closer to ketchup than a true cocktail sauce with horseradish. I ordered a bowl of mushroom bisque next. While the mushroom bisque had a good flavor, it was overly salty and I had to ask for bread to go along with it. I also needed to drink multiple glasses of water just to finish this soup due to the salt content. My wife had the French onion soup which tasted great but the gruyere cheese was done more than heavily on top. Next I had the Caesar Salad. This had a good tasting Caesar dressing and there was a perfect amount of dressing on each bite. The croutons were excellent but was disappointed with only one and a half small pieces of anchovy on the salad since it was advertised to have it on the menu. The parmesan crisp looked nice on the side but was very stale. So far I was not very impressed, especially for the price, but the Pan-Seared Sea Bass entree completely changed my experience here. The sea bass was cooked perfectly, flaked nicely, and melted like butter in each bite while still maintaining a subtle crisp from the outside sear. The lime artichoke glaze on the sea bass was excellent and the fish paired nicely with the cilantro lime rice and wild mushroom medly. Not pictured is the giant slice of carrot cake we ordered to go that my wife and I very much enjoyed. Our waitress Leya M made the experience great and her service was exceptional, which made up for the coldness of the hostess when we arrived and the host when we left. Overall I could see myself dining here again in the future if staying at the hotel for a special occasion. I would recommend this restaurant, specifically for the sea bass.
