I appreciate Texas roadhouse for what they offer. It's typically always the same anywhere I go. I know what I'm gonna get. I like the fact that I can place a reservation online and the drink and food specials are typically just perfect. Staff is always friendly. Didn't even know MQT had a Texas Roadhouse. Stopped in on a work trip and was helped by Bianca and Damien at the bar. They were super attentive amd just the right amount of chatty. While I was here, Bianca was cleaning behind the bar to keep everything clean. For dinner, I had the 8 oz filet, mashed potatoes, and steamed broccoli. Ordered my steak medium, and it came out just under. Needed another 45 seconds on the grill. The sear on the steak wasn't great, and it was underseasoned (not poorly seasoned). Just not seasoned enough for me. Broccoli seemed like it maybe had butter poured on it, which to me defeats the purpose of a healthy veg option. Now for the good. The steak was super tender. Probably could've done with just a butter knife. The mashed potatoes very creamy and didn't have any lumps. All in all it was a positive experience. I'd eat here again for sure. read more

Stopped in yesterday around 2:00. Parking lot was 1/3 full, and restaurant reflected parking lot with large areas of empty seats. Was told that it would be a 10 min wait to be seated. Well, Marquette has several great restaurants in the same area; we don't have to wait for nothing! For the 3rd time now, we left the Roadhouse without being seated. We went across the highway got right in over at Red Lobster! If the Roadhouse does not want to provide prompt service, that's okay; we have great options in Marquette! read more

We went here the second week they were open. There was already a line up into the parking lot. We thought we'd have to wait forever but we got right in, were seated immediately. Our server was wonderfully, very attentive and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. Probably the best place I've eaten in Marquette so far. I would recommend this place and I'd go back. I was impressed at how well they handled that amount of customers so quickly. read more

My wife and I are visiting her cousin in Negaunee from just under the Bridge. We stayed and ate in Marquette on this visit. The first night here - last night - we had drinks and dinner at the Texas Roadhouse. The food was great, the prices were fair, and the service we received was fantastic. We ate at the bar, and were served by Damien. He was friendly, funny, knowledgeable, and efficient. I would give him a "10" rating, but I think the service that he gave us was worthy of an "11". We will definitely eat here again tomorrow, as well as any future trips - and we will always sit at the bar and hope that Damien is on duty! read more

This was our first time at a Texas Roadhouse. We did like their online wait list, it worked well. Once inside and seated at our table we could tell right away that it was going to be too cold to be comfortable. Guests were all wearing sweatshirts, hoodies or sweaters. Yup, we had cold air blowing right on us, even the wait staff was cold, you could see them rubbing their hands together to keep warm. I mentioned to the waitress that it was my birthday but I had lost the coupon I had received via email for a free appetizer, and could I still get one if I showed my I.D.? She said she'd have a manager come over and talk to us about it. But in the meantime would we like to order an appetizer ? We did. No manager ever showed up and we wound up paying for the appetizer. I also ordered a Manhattan to drink. When it arrived, even my wife who doesn't drink was amazed at how small it was! We had seen the nice ribeye steaks in the display case as we came in, so we both ordered that along with a salad. Salads came before the appetizer, and while we were trying to eat both salad and appetizer our main meal was brought to the table. Talk about rushing the customer!! Well the steaks that we got looked nothing like the ones in the display case. Ours were cut so thin that they looked like they were cut for a steak sandwich. And they were so covered with a salty seasoning that we couldn't taste the steak. Baked potatoes were also covered with salt, we hadn't been offered the option of baked potato without all the salt on them. The meat being cut so thin was rather dry even though we ask for Medium Rare. Getting the idea? We had a bad night. Toward the end of our dinner a manager type person came to our table to ask about our meal. As soon as my wife started to tell her about it, she turned on her heels and left. Quick to get a table, even when busy. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing. It's so nice to get food that's fresh and full of amazing flavor. I had a prime rib the first time I visited the restaurant, and I haven't had a prime like that in 30 years! This past time, I had the chicken portabella and it was really good. The mashed potatoes are just amazing, as well. And the 100 calorie cocktails are a nice touch. The warm, fresh baked dinner rolls are so good and help tide you over until your food arrives. The only that is, it's a bit loud and rowdy sounding in there. But it's the nature of the restaurant, the way it's mean to be. So I don't count that as a negative. You know what you're getting when you visit a Texas Roadhouse. I absolutely love the place! read more

Food, service, and ambience we're good. When the small plates were brought out for us to butter our rolls on my girlfriend handed me a plate and then showed me hers which was smeared with food so I looked at the bottom of mine and there was food all over the bottom of that plate. I was disappointed that I could not get a non-alcoholic drink apparently they don't serve them there. There is only one stall in the bathroom and it could use some service read more
