Family meal, with a single portion I made for myself in one of the many to go containers.

We've been to this location a few times and it's always been good, however, this evening we simply placed a to go order for a family meal after receiving a gift card for the holidays. Let me tell you, after working every holiday last year, finishing a bunch of overtime, and being too tired to cook, the food was absolutely FANTASTIC! I know this is a chain with a well known menu, but our food was so fresh and hot. Not to mention how generous the portions were (and we've tried quite a few family meals from different places) the staff was so friendly, and generous with condiments and utensils and asked how everything looked. Even though it was take out, I have to say service was exceptional as well. When you do dine in, the atmosphere is always fun as well.

First time at Texas Roadhouse and thoroughly enjoyed my meal here! Came in around 5pm on a Friday and it was pretty full. Most tables were taken. When we left, there was a wait. Ordered the cactus bloom and the prime rib. The rolls and cinnamon butter were delicious. The cactus bloom was so good and a great appetizer to start the meal. The prime rib was juicy. The sweet potato was decent and paired well with the butter. The mac & cheese was good. I also tried the shrimp and ribs. They were also flavored nicely. Service was nice and friendly as well. She checked on us often.

Was craving a steak and thought no better place than the Texas Roadhouse I always pass. Drinks were great and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Haven't been here since there were peanuts all over the place. The food was fairly priced for what we got. Spent about $95 total for everything and definitely left full. Staff was kind.

Texas Roadhouse is classic and great for the price. Of course, the sides are delicious and it's perfect place for comfort food. The restaurant itself is what you'd expect from a fun and affordable Texas style (according to a Californian) place! The servers are beyond friendly and quick when it comes to bringing g out food, taking orders, refilling water, etc... whenever my friends and I are looking for some affordable but yummy steak, Texas Roadhouse is our go-to.

Shawn our server was great. It definitely took longer to get our food but that's to be expected early on. Everything was clean and bright. Great job T.R. The house margaritas are dangerous in a not good way lol

The jalapeño cornbread was actually a bit spicy and didn't just crumble apart. The Mac and cheese was a good mix of saucy and pull apart cheesy. And the Beans! I have struggled to find a good sweet BBQ bean, these hit the spot. Plenty of room to sit, counter up front, bar in the back. Seating everywhere. Everyone working in the restaurant went out of their way to come check on us during our visit. They were genuinely grateful for everyone who came in and made sure they expressed it! They just got a second smoker and apparently neither one ever gets cold. Even with that, we came at 5:45 in a Saturday evening and several meats were already sold out. Excellent stop! Highly recommend. It's hard to find good BBQ in Denver. But this one competes with some good BBQ I have had around the country.

The meh part was some of the food. We ordered the 3 meat 2 side Combo: - The green beans were mush and no seasoning. - The mac'n'cheese with the bacon was actually delicious. We might come back for that alone. We added the sausage hotlinks and they were delicious also. - Corn bread was soggy - The meats: we tried the chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. The meats were good but not seasoned. What if I didn't want to slather the bbq sauce on? I just wanted a little salt. And we took our food to go on a picnic so had no access to salt. Overall, it's an ok place. Maybe they're going through growing pains. I'll give them another try when I'm in the area. Be forewarned: their door automatically slams shut, so when I was walking out pushing the door with my shoulder bc my hands were full it slammed closed super quickly. On my foot. Just a random side note to keep in mind if you're walking out with your hands full.*

I could tell this place was going to be good because it was packed out at 11:30 AM on a Saturday. We decided to stop by and most people were ordering very large orders for takeout, but they have a good number of tables both inside and outside. The food takes a while to come, but that just means that it is all freshly prepared, and the staff are so nice and even give free samples. I went with the Kids meal brisket with the Potato salad and added a Sweet potato with the candied pecan butter. I seriously have no words -- all of these things were so delicious, and the amount of meat that you get even with the kids meal is more than enough to fill me up, especially with the rich sweet potato and potato salad on the side. I will be back as soon as I can, their hours are limited, and the drive is a little out of the central Denver area, but it is so worth it

That was missing here, the first indication that all would not go well. I soldiered on anyway, and ordered the 2 meat plate, pulled pork and brisket, with an extra rib bone and collard greens and beans for sides. The brisket and pork were both dry and had no smoke flavor. The rib was so small (an end piece) that they gave me 2; they were both overcooked and had very little meat on them. The sides were the only good part of this meal, but sides do not great barbecue make, hence the 2 stars. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pitmaster visited our table and took our criticism with good grace, even offering to replace our food to see if they could do better, but I was done. I won't be returning.

The server was quick to take my order and friendly. Definitely glad I got it to go because it was a bit loud due to a large group being there. Food took a little bit of time to make but definitely well worth the wait. The beans were very sweet and yummy. Mac and cheese slaps your taste buds with so much flavor. The ribs on the 2 meat platter I only got 3 of them and a huge link but for the price I thought it was worth it. Can't wait to come back and try the wings and the different types of sauces they got. I've had it before and enjoyed it, but the last couple times the food has been cold despite being ready within 7 minutes. Today, I was at Chop Shop the minute my order was ready, as I got a notification on my phone. I got the chicken with polenta and my husband had the chicken tenders. We got freezer burnt chicken that was wet and soggy, breading falling off, and impossible to chew like cardboard. Not to mention the polenta and Mac and cheese were cold. I understand not every experience can be perfect, however to pay a tip, restaurant service fee (that apparently doesn't go to staff because it's a separate charge), and have to pay for utensils at a quick serve restaurant just to receive small portions, cold food, and past quality ingredients is not acceptable. I would sooner go to a fast food restaurant.
