Yesenia was a ray of sunshine, serving up affordable classics (sirloin in small single portions, and larger hand-picked from the case) also my favorite fried catfish with a killer rémoulade for the win. All with a basket full of piping hot pillowy rolls and honey cinnamon butter (like no one else makes them). We decided to give Texas Roadhouse a shot regardless of the scathing reviews. We must have had the A-team working today. Everyone worked as if they were pooling tips together. Each person that passed or came to our table treated us as if they were our personal servers. My husband had the ribeye steak. It was grilled to cut with a butter knife perfection, and to exact temp. I enjoyed my grilled chicken sandwich. I opted out of French fries and sub'd salad. The chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The dinner salads we got were so crunchy, crisp and cold. The ranch and blue cheese dressings were home made, truly the best. We do agree with the music, it's great but a bit too loud. One or two notches down and we can have a convo without speaking loudly to one another. read more

Thankfully didn't have to wait long on a Monday afternoon. I will say, it's LOUD in this place. The acoustics don't allow for conversation. The chicken was flavorful but the steak was quite dry. read more

Don't show up with large group on a Saturday night expecting to get seated in less than an hour. The beer is served in a timely manner and is good. Once seated service is slow because the place is slammed. I ordered road kill which is chopped steak smothered in onions, mushrooms and cheese. The steak was dry barely any onions slightly more mushrooms and a drizzle of cheese. I ate only 1/2 of it. Overall a waste of time and poor quality read more

I ordered a meal and was told that they didn't have lettuce for my salad but would in about 15 minutes. They finally brought it but after I was eating my meal. I said I didn't want it anymore because if I ate the salad my food would get cold and I don't like eating salads afterwards. A manager told me that he wouldn't discount my meal because salads are free and he wouldn't discount something that is free. I've been in the business long enough and know that customers come first and a $2.00/$3.00 discount isn't anything if it keeps people happy. I discounted my meal anyways as I discounted the tip I always give 50%. Your server paid my discount. read more

Well, Texas Roadhouse is usually good but this time my family and I had a not so ok experience. The waitress was good but the cooks in the back were terrible. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out medium at best. I had already finished my meal and my sisters plate was just coming out. My nephew ordered his steak medium rare and got it well done. Everyone finished at the table and he still never got his replacement steak. Finally my nephews steak was brought out by a so called manager named Heather and she acted like a real Bi+€h. I won't be visiting this particular roadhouse again. Don't know if they were under staffed this day but it wasn't worth the wait. Roadhouse gets an F today. read more

Went here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Everything was fine until the food arrived. When I cut into my chicken fried chicken, I found a blonde hair embedded in the crust. It was extremely unappetizing and completely ruined my meal. I informed my server, who offered to remake the dish, but after seeing that, I didn't feel comfortable ordering another one. I told her I wasn't hungry anymore. She explained that I would still be charged since the order had already been placed, which I reluctantly accepted. Later, I mentioned the issue to another staff member, and instead of showing concern, he only asked that I not take a photo because it would hurt their publicity and reviews. I found that response disappointing--it felt like maintaining their image mattered more than addressing the situation appropriately. I expected better from Texas Roadhouse. read more

Was super happy to come enjoy a nice lunch with my husband here in Del Rio. First impression right off the bat moody manager and staff. Then we ask just one request during football season if we can be seated in front of the playing tvs. Lady says, "No there not open!" (Mind you they just opened and there are no other lunch goers but us) It looked pretty open to me. But rather then saying you know what we will sit you close enough so you can see the darn tv. She sits us furthest away. By that point we're annoyed and just leave! Boo! We probably won't be eating here ever again! Common sense people! It's lunch, people are hungry if someone wants to sit close by a tv playing the football then common curteousy give the customer what they want...... We like to go here on Friday nights and sit by the bar area. Since we been coming here 12-15 times there has never been a baseball game on during the season and now that football has started no football either. Stuff they have on the TV here is ridiculous. Asked a few times for them to put a baseball game on and they refuse to do it. Saying we not allowed to change the channels. So that's my rart . Service here has been 70% with servers and the food been about the same. Had to send margarita back tonight because it had brown stuff floating in it. Silverware was not cleaned and napkin had dry food all over it. Then they brought my food out on a plate that looked like they throw it on the plate from across the room. Splash all over it. Only thing that made our night is we lucked out and had a great severer tonight. read more

Our 1 hour dining experience turned into a 2 hour nightmare. Waitress was the worst ever. Diabetic member of party asked for unsweet tea. She brought them sweet tea. Our to go order was not turned in until after we finished our dinner and dessert. We did not see her much during our nightmare. The food was way TOO salty (very unhealthy). The ambiance was not conducive to conversation at all. Very loud music. Rather pay more and go to Cripple Creek. read more

Even after suggesting a mug for my water water, I was served water with no ice. My friends made a big deal about me asking for hot water, but I find my actions completely justified. No matter all the bitching I received from my fellow diners (especially the woman across the table), after inquiring after my meal, it turns out the waitress really could have served me what I asked for. What a blatant disregard for customer service! I wouldn't stand for this unscrupulous behavior and decided to voice my dissent through the only acceptable means available. The tip. One dime, and a 50 yen coin. Would I recommend dining at this establishment? Yes. The food was a little rare, but I got (mostly) what I ordered, and wasn't disappointed further with the quality. The wait was a little tiresome, but I'd take it over the buffalo wings and rings. Service may be fickle, but it's important to always humble yourself and remember the waiters and waitresses that service us are human too. read more

When texas roadhouse first open it was really good! Steak had flavor no problem. Went a second time steak was flavorless tasted like water lol. Said u know what ima give it a second chance. Stopped by today. And the steak is still very disappointing no flavor at all just bland. Didn't finish the meat because it was just not good. HORRIBLE SERVICE. This place is awful, weve ordered from the hospital a few times and the service has gotten our orders wrong every single time. They always forget a few of our orders and make us go back for them. The manager does not work with you and he is not very helpful or even tries to keep the customer happy. The staff is immature young gurls that make a lot of mistakes and have very poor customer service. Please dont go if you have high expectation. read more
