Yee haw !

I've been to the Blue Springs Texas Roadhouse many times and have never had a bad experience. Everything I've ordered is really good. Excellent appetizers too ! The place is always busy, everyone seems to like it. The waitresses are great at keeping in touch with you. Very highly recommended !

This review is for the 2 experiences my boyfriend and I had at Texas R.H. on Friday, 8-30th & Thursday, 9-12th. ^__^ Both experiences were absolutely Awesome! Such amazing customer service we got Both times by different staff members. The restaurant itself was Very big and was super packed All the time, so we were quite lucky for our visits. We managed to get there and were seated before it became slammed with people! The food quality is truly something.. Both times we got exactly the steak we requested and Damn it was good! O__O That place became one of our new favorite places for sure! Their Zesty green beans were shockingly good lol, as well as their complimentary rolls you get upon arrival. My partner enjoys their cinnamon butter that comes with their rolls. I had mine with no butter, but honestly even if I Could have butter I don't think their bread needs it! We already look forward to our 3ed visit in the future. Not relevant or anything, but we were seated at the same table twice! It would be hilarious if we got the same spot third time around. I should mention their portioning as well since I appreciate such things just as much! I'm a work-meal-prepper-type person indeed, and Love when I can get a meal or two-worth of food from one restaurant visit for work reasons. ^__^

Despite every table being filled with families traveling for Christmas weekend, our service was excellent. Our waitress, Addie, was on top of filling up our waters, and was ready right on time for when we needed another beer. We split a cactus blossom appetizer which was excellent and the accompanying sauce paired well. Additionally, I had a burger which wasn't anything too special. We sat next to a painting of a man which looks like colonel sanders holding a plate (of several sets) of ribs. It seemed like nobody in the painting was enthusiastic about the ribs, however our entire table was ecstatic for these ribs and we savored the painting's warming and tasteful aesthetic to the upmost until our checks arrived.

Bar has open seating. Ladies at the bar were nice and service was fast! Steak was cooked perfectly but it was a little cold.

Best steakhouse in KC. Better than Hereford house and 1587 and everything in between. Always consistent, great prices and great service.

I love Texas roadhouses food. Salads are crisp, rolls and butter are yummy. Steak is good and always cooked just right.

The host, and the Yelp app quoted us 10-20 minutes, but we got there after 20 and ended up waiting about 15 more. This was unfortunate since there isn't a big waiting area and we were very much in the way, but the staff was nice and worked to get tables pushed together for us. After being sat it took about 10-15 minutes to get our order in, and about 15-20 for the food to come. Not bad at all with how busy this place is! All of our food came out hot and delicious at the same time! I had the cowboy Benedict with chicken fried steak, and gravy on the side. The steak was alright, pretty thin, and nothing surprisingly tasty about it. The eggs were delicious and my favorite part! The hashbrowns were fine, and the biscuit was also great--crispy edges which were perfect! I got a sticky biscuit with extra icing and really appreciated the amount of icing I got!! This was my favorite part of the meal, again the crispy edges made this such a great texture as well as the taste. Our server Amber did a great job taking care of our large party! She was nice, and checked on us several times. All the staff we came into contact with were very nice and friendly. The bathrooms were small and a little jenky, but otherwise the vibe of this spot was good. Nothing fancy at all, but what you'd expect for a quick turnaround family brunch spot. This would be my first choice for a boujee made-from-scratch meal, but for a large party this is relatively easy to get into--which has been my experience at 2 different locations near KC so far. I'm sure I'll be back with my group again next time we are in the area!

On the con side whatever they put on the bread is so greasy it really did not agree with anyone in our party. Eggs were good. Grits were tasty. My granddaughter tried a chocolate chip pancake. That was just too sweet.

In my opinion, $22 for an Easter brunch buffet should mean hot food that won't run out. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Our party of 10 arrived at 11:00am and all of the food in the buffet was cold. Even when they'd bring more of a certain item to replace on the buffet line, it wasn't warm. The only item that was hot was the prime rib at the carving station. Being pregnant, I felt extremely uncomfortable eating cold buffet food due to the increased risk of food poisoning, so I wasn't able to enjoy much beyond the room temperature biscuits and the last scrapings of the white gravy along with some green beans that were warmish. Defintely not worth the $22 a person. They also ran out of carrot cake on Easter of all holidays, which was a disappointment. We probably won't be back for a buffet at Sandy's, which is a shame because our family has eaten their Mother's Day buffet several times and it had been fine (not stellar, but fine). Also, just a personal opinion, but the constant use of bad AI pictures on their Facebook is so cringey. The Boomers might like it, but the younger crowd sees this sort of stuff and thinks "yikes." We'd rather see real pictures of your real food, not a cartoon depiction.

I was in Blue Springs today and ended up at Smalls Sliders…read more The whole place looks like someone dropped a black and orange shipping container into a parking lot and said "what if this thing only served greasy little dopamine bombs?" Honestly? Great idea. Walk-up window. A few outdoor tables. Super clean bathrooms outside. Bright branding you can spot from the road immediately. The kind of place that knows exactly what it is. Taylor at the window was awesome too. I had absolutely no clue what I wanted and never once felt rushed. They guided me directly into the kind of meal that shortens your lifespan a little but dramatically improves your afternoon. I got the Biggie Smalls combo with a cookies & cream shake, loaded waffle fries with bacon, jalapeños and ranch, extra Smauce on the burgers, and a side of queso because if queso is available and you don't dip everything into it, what are we even doing here? The sliders are exactly what you want them to be. Buttery buns. Thin greasy patties with crispy edges. Cheese melting into every corner. Smauce tastes like that classic burger sauce lane -- mayo, ketchup, mustard, pickle tang -- but sweeter and richer, like if a drive-thru and a county fair had a beautiful unhealthy baby together. And the loaded fries? Completely unserious food. In the best possible way. This place feels engineered in a laboratory specifically to make you crave one more slider even when you know you're full. And if you don't know what to order, just ask Taylor. They know exactly what they're doing.
