We felt the value and price for what we were interested in was fair- since it was a popular firearm and hard to find. Definitely, recommend Wiley's! While I was there I spotted a type 1, grade ll Belgian Browning Bar in the displace case. The marked price was more that fair. I had been looking for exactly that model for years. I did not hesitate to buy it. I am thrilled with my rifle purchase, the expertice, professional skill and customer care I received. A round trip to Mac's is an 80 mile trip for me (Hawkins, to the North). I passed several gun shops on the way. It was well worth the effort for me. Mac's is now MY gun store. My only gun store. Do yourself a big favor and do business there. At least visit and meet the guys. Stop by several times. I guarantee you'll be impressed.

While I was in the store, an older man working behind the counter carried on an extended conversation with another customer that involved repeated derogatory comments about Mexican Americans and American Spanish speakers. This wasn't a single offhand remark -- it went on for a noticeable amount of time, openly and unapologetically, right in front of other customers. What made it even worse was how comfortable they seemed saying it, as if they assumed everyone in the store either agreed or couldn't understand them. I understood exactly what was being said, and it created an uncomfortable, hostile environment that no customer should have to tolerate. Personal opinions have no place being broadcast from behind a retail counter, especially when they cross into ethnic or racial slander. Allowing that behavior reflects poorly on the business and its leadership. I will not be returning, and I would strongly encourage management to address this immediately.

Ammo selection is very good with all the items you need to deck out the firearm of your choosing. In the end though the people there make it one of my favorite stores of all time.
