We brought our targets, and clay pigeons. They said they are getting some electronic throwers soon. When you arrive you check in, sign waivers, pay (per person & per gun) and they'll give you a run down of where you want to go on the property. They make a note of you and the guns you've got, and a way to contact you. They have a variety of different ranges to chose from. They'll tell you where they are. The property is really cool outdoors area, and if you a familiar with firearms then this place is a dream for those looking to do their own thing. The owner of the property came out to greet us as well. We made sure to be respectful of the property and cleaned up after ourselves. We will be returning in the future.

We had a groupon for the sporting clay course and a guide. Ask for Marco - he was loads of fun and very helpful and made it all very unintimidating. The course is on a piece of property that was suppose to be a golf course so it is very pretty (lots of hills and lakes). It was a great afternoon out in the country doing something a little different. It sounded like if you become a member, you can shoot on your own or else there are open shooting days throughout the year. Highly recommend it, even if you have never done this before.

I offered to rent the gun, but he demurred. Then he spent ten minutes of his time (at a point in the middle of the tournament) to instruct her on proper technique and position. He went way beyond the call of duty. The range officers were friendly and professional yet effectively enforced all safety rules. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

This was the 2nd pistol marksmanship class that I have taken. David's class was far and away…read moresuperior to the 1st class. His ability to diagnose what you are doing wrong, and then correct it is what stands out in my mind. As an example, early on in the class I was dropping the front of the pistol in anticipation of trying to see what I had hit on the shot. He tried to correct me verbally, but I was not getting it. So, he got out his phone, videoed me while shooting, then played the video back to me. I was able to see what I was doing wrong, and correct. At another point in the class, I was not focusing correctly on the front site when pressing the trigger, and again, I was not getting the verbal correction. David pulled out a photo of a page with three images. 1st image was the rear site in focus, with the front and target blurred. 2nd was the rear and front blurred, with the target in focus. 3rd had the rear site and target blurred, with the front site in focus. I got it. David knows what he is doing, and is an excellent instructor.

After a horrific visit at a close by competitor that has USA in their name... this place stood out like a beacon in the night on a foggy night at sea. Upon entering we were immediately greated within 3 seconds. The gentlemen there welcomed us in as if we were familiar family. We approached the counter and I asked them if they did trades and he said yes but it depends on exactly what I was interested in trading. I went back to my vehicle to show them my trade and a little background and they were more than happy to give me close to what I purchased it for as it was only 2 days old from where I originally purchased it from. They happily gave us a small tour of their facilities and showed us some products of interest. They were extremely knowledgeable about every product there as they are also a gunsmith shop so can also do any type of modification allowable. I was extremely happy to hear that they have a 30 days return policy on anything you buy there. Their nearby competitor surely doesn't have that same policy. The customer service is excellent and I was able to make my trade as well as buy new hardware. I'm also happy to announce that they are adding a range early next year right next to them. I love that small shop feel of a place vs the corporate treatment where you're treated only as a number. In fact, whilst I was there another customer walked in complaining about that same nearby competitor and how bad they were with customer service. Clearly they have a reputation that Texas Underground doesn't have and have been the savior of many. This is my official spot going forward for Ammo and Armory. Be secure and Prosper.

Was i surprise when I got it back 9 months later with a hack job repair. I can still feel let alone see the repair and the finish is even more hacked with the gain not even being filled. Can't get ahold of them now and should get a huge refund. Stay clear.

The end result was I was told he was retiring and there was no warranty. I do not understand how a gunsmith with his reputation can go down so fast. I have no idea what or where this gunsmith will go but as a consumer stay as far away as possible. I could write a lengthy review but it is as simple as reading all reviews and then as a consumer decide if you want this gunsmith working on your guns.
