High Five Physical Therapy is the only place to go. The staff at High Five are all great but Dr…read more Perez is incredible. I recently fell severely damaging my shoulder. After surgery the doctors office sent me to their facility at Carroll Clinic - my first visit was a check-in, the second was spent with the PT person splitting time with me and another, the third and last was split between me and 2 other patients. I knew I was not getting the care I needed. Signed up with High Five and from the in depth initial evaluation I knew this was the right place. After the evaluation Dr. Perez went to work with lasers, ultra sound, careful stretching and manipulation and what shocked me was that a day later I could tell a 10 fold improvement over what I had been doing repeatedly at the other place. After 3 weeks went to see my doctor who was equally surprised with how much movement I now had - then I told him where I was going for my PT and he knew immediately why I had improved so much. They are the most professional and caring operation I have ever experienced.

Completely disorganized billing. Was given a good faith estimate when started treatment. Was never…read morenotified during treatment that they were doing anything out of the agreed upon scope (very straightforward physical therapy). Then got billed significantly more. When I called to ask about the charge I was informed that the original estimate is what I should have been charged. Was told they needed to process it in accounting and would call me the next day when it was done. They never called back so I called later that week and was told by a SECOND person that the original good faith estimate is what I should have been charged - but accounting was backed up and it still needed to be processed but not to worry because they'd take care of it. While this was going on I was going back and forth with their central billing because the local office didn't communicate to them what they communicated with me and they thought that I. That was a month and a half ago and today I get a call from central billing saying that it still shows that I owe that bill in their system. So I got in touch with the local office AGAIN. I was put on hold and talked to now a third person (medical director) who said that I do have to pay the additional money over the good faith estimate. When I asked for an explanation she basically just gave me the response that the other two people that I talked to were wrong and admitted that they need to do a better job in teaching their employees ... no additional explanation on why it was more than the good faith estimate. She blamed it on the fact that the first person I talked to was filling in for someone else and wasn't an expert on billing ... but had no explanation as to why the second person also told me the same thing. Every step along the way it seems like someone is passing the buck off on someone else. Overall I'm still honestly not even sure why or if I was supposed to be billed ... my takeaway is that two people told me a I shouldn't have been billed and one person said I should. I'm not even giving this one star because I was billed. I'm giving it one star for the lack of organization and response from the company. I was told one thing that they didn't follow through on after MULTIPLE follow ups and had to track people town at every step to get answers or explanations. In the end I paid the bill because I didn't want it to go into collections and have already wasted more time than it's worth dealing with this.
