From previous experience with another guy, I realized that I wanted someone who would constantly keep me updated on our progress. In fact, when I mentioned this to Steve, he told me that if there was any issue it would be that he would provide me with too many updates. That, to me, was a good sign. 2. He is thorough. He took the time to explain things to me, and he seemed generally interested in actually helping me get the best deal I could. I didn't feel like I was just another transaction. I felt like he enjoys helping people and he offered me suggestions and ideas for ways to save money on any future work that I have done to the place. 3. He is a martial artist and has helped a lot of others find a gym.
