Getting in when you need to be seen right away has become harder since they are part on IntraCare. Making appointments through their call center is painful as they have no sense of the urgency of needing to be seen right away. I suggest you call and ask to speak to a nurse who will help you to get in sooner. The office staff is top notch, friendly and efficient. The take Medicare and help you sign up for coverage.

Told him outright that I was too tired to drive 20 miles to his office...... he never called back. Called again on Tuesday, his nurse to us that if we can't come in, regardless of my current condition, they can't help me. I told her she could charge me the fees anyway, but I can't do it. I would have never known I had several deficiencies and cause for concern because the staff and doctor don't care enough to call. The mailed results, which I never received, were the only form of correspondence I would have received. Thank God I care enough about my health to follow up. I guess once the claim was filed, I was just another number checked off their "to do" list. Others who attend this facility claim the doctor is "thorough". That may be the case but the staff is so horrendous that none of that really matters. A good doctor's office would follow up and explain the lab results, make sure you were aware of the proper next steps and schedule a follow up....you know, to monitor progress and make sure you got better. A terrible one would take your money, mail you test results that a normal person cannot interpret, and call the job done. You get the picture.

So they did stress test, cardio scan & multiple other tests. All negative. Came to see Dr. Mayes who did an allergy test on him, gave him some breathing meds & put him on allergy shots. Within 6 months all symptoms were gone.

I have been going to Texas Family Health Clinic since around 2018. My service has steadily declined…read moresince then. Dr. Fagan is wonderful and communicative, but there are many things falling through the cracks. Referrals are taken care of slowly (only communicated with extra leg work and phone tag on the patient's end). The final straw for me was when I received a referral to a plastic surgeon instead of a neurologist. I need to see a neurologist because of a cyst that was found on my brain after a CT scan. I am very frustrated that error in the referral department is causing a delay in my access to follow-up and care. I have additionally have incorrect tests ordered and performed in follow-up visits. I am not sure where all this miscommunication comes from because everything is documented electronically in the MyChart app. I intentionally stayed with Dr. Fagan in Grapevine while living in Flower Mound and now in Carrollton, but after these recent issues, I am going to have to find a new PCP. I cannot warrant driving 30 minutes each way to receive this level of care as a patient.

Dr Veley: An Exceptional Physician!…read more I rate Dr. Veley and his staff five stars -- but only because ten stars is not an option. My primary care physician recommended that I see a pulmonologist to check out a questionable node found on a scan of my lung. My first pulmonologist was not particularly interested, said not to worry, advised me to follow up later -- and then left the area. I told my primary care physician of my experience. She referred me to Dr. Veley. Dr. Veley reviewed my case file and recommended that I immediately get a broncoscopy for purposes of providing a lung biopsy. He thoroughly explained the procedure, which did much to address my initial anxiety. I took his advice. The minimally invasive biopsy procedure found Stage 1 lung cancer. If Dr. Valey had simply accepted my lack of concern or reluctance to obtain the biopsy sample and done nothing, the cancer would not have been found. His knowledge, professionalism, and approach resulted in changing my situation from what could have been a very dire outlook to one of a probable 90% full recovery after completion of what is today a relatively routine surgery. His office staff is equally impressive. After I reported one admin glitch, my concern was immediately addressed. The office manager provided me with her direct line, and her staff continued to check with me to ensure all was addressed and running well. Dr. Veley's personnel told me that they work for him because of his obvious personal attention, care, and concern for his patients. As a patient, I can personally validate for their assessment.
