    The emailS they sent me

Mean girls club I went there last week as i was told I can show up with 1 TNR with out appointments ( per their own email from reggie) and if they have no show they will take it for surgery . I get there , waited in line & only 1 TNR showed up . There was one lady that was there with prego TNR and they told-her she cant use TLC any more ! I asked to speak to Manager . The woman claimed she is a new manager BUT wouldn't give me her name. I asked for deana which is the director & manager said she will turn me away too . When i got home i wrote them an email concerning my issue with rude manager and next morning i got an email that i am banned for making a sense & workers there have issue with me all the time . I emailed deana 3 times that they are mistaking me with the other woman . But no respond . Mind u I live in montgomary county and i my tax $ is paying for free TNR programs and now the animals are suffering because of their action . I never had any issue at tomball location . FYI , if u look on their reviews every single 1 star review gets banned from them using their service .

Ask the Community - Texas Litter Control

What kind of payments do they accept? Cadh or card?

I’ve used both. Great place, had two of my cats fixed there. Nice gals in Humble at the desk.

Do I have to bring my kitty in a trap to be spayed or can she come in a carrier? Those traps are like a torcher cage.

The traps are for feral cats. They spay and let you release it back in the area you trapped it. Ferals get one ear snipped (sizeable snip). Bring your pet in a carrier.

Today I almost didn't come, but my Frenchie has been having ear issues again. Last year they put a medication in his ear that helped temporarily, so I came back hoping to address the same issue. This time they wanted to charge me $100 for the same medication that I later saw on Amazon for about $7. I declined the medication. After that they offered to simply clean his ears. I agreed, thinking it was a basic service, but no price was mentioned beforehand. When I received my bill, it came out to $337. I was shocked to see they charged $50 just to clean his ears without informing me of the cost before doing it. While the staff has always been polite, the pricing and lack of transparency are very disappointing. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I will not be returning. I have to agree with other reviews that the pricing here feels like a rip off.

From the start, the front staff were super kind to our lil pup for his puppy shots; he had positive experiences every time! For boarding, Chief was happy and well taken care of as he recuperated from his neutering while we were on vacation; Jasmine was so kind and even sent us a video of our pup playing in the unexpected snow in Jan 2025. We were sad to miss his first experience with snow, and thrilled to see him love the cold, white fun. Then, Dr. Kendra Delaney and the whole staff were instrumental in working with our Pet Relocation team for our international move, and promptly responded to all the timely details. Chief boarded for about a week until he flew out to meet us abroad. The staff all took amazing care of him, and our extra thank yous to Jasmine, our puppy's favorite vet tech, who noticed he was getting anxious; she promptly alerted the vet team who approached us with suggestions. We sincerely appreciate them all going the extra mile, every time.

Part of my problem is that I have a Great Dane, a little over a year old (and I'm embarrassed to say), that I have not socially acclimated well. I called the clinic ahead of time and asked about their waiting room area because this had been an issue with my last vet's office. I explained my circumstances and they said call us in the parking lot when you arrive and we will let you know when a room is open so you can take him right in. I arrived 15 minutes early and they did just as they had promised. The wait to see the vet tech was a little long but she apologized and said they had an emergency that morning so they were running behind. I can understand and appreciate that. The tech advised me of the packages and what was recommended but not necessary and even waited while I called my boarding facility to see what they required for his future stays. They took Brutus into the back to weigh him and a few minutes after asked me to come back to help get him on the scales. I managed to coax the front half of him on and 2 of the vet techs helped "load" the back end of him on. He was 156.6 lbs so it was no small feat and I appreciated the two ladies' efforts. Dr. Martin was great. Super patient with administering the vaccinations and advising me on my puppy's care. I had asked for my boy's nails to be dremmeled. Here's where they really showed that they care about my business and taking care of my pet. Brutus wiggled, squirmed, turned over a chair and did everything he could to get away from the three of us and having his nails trimmed. After about 10 minutes we finally got him calmed down enough to basically accept his fate. lol If you care about good customer service and making sure your pet is in the right hands I highly recommend this vet clinic. They have won my business after a year's search.

We brought our 170-lb mastiff, Louie, in for a routine heartworm test. The tech attempted to draw blood from his front leg but couldn't get any on the first try. Instead of using a new needle or properly cleaning the area again with alcohol, she reused the same needle in the exact same spot. When that didn't work, they eventually drew blood from his neck area. A few days later, we noticed a growth on the same leg where the attempted blood draw occurred. At first it was small, and we thought it might be a hygroma since Louie is a large dog who tends to drop his weight on the floor. But by Saturday morning, his leg had suddenly swollen to three times the size of his other legs, and he could not walk at all. We rushed him to another vet because this clinic was closed. That vet took X-rays (which were clear) and told us the swelling was not a hygroma, his leg was filled with fluid and could be an abscess, soft tissue sarcoma, or another serious issue. They immediately started him on medication for infection and pain. On Monday, I contacted this clinic to inform them of what had happened after our visit. They asked for photos, which we provided. They then asked for more pictures, and we even sent the X-ray from the emergency vet. Several days passed with no response until we finally received a call, only to be told that it wasn't their fault and there was nothing they could do. They also tried to convince us that reusing the same needle in the same spot without re-cleaning the area could not cause an infection. I'm not sure what veterinary school teaches that, but basic medical hygiene says otherwise. What makes this even more frustrating is that no solution, no concern, and no accountability were offered. Even if they believed it truly wasn't their fault, the complete lack of responsibility or willingness to help was incredibly disappointing. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. Louie suffered significantly, and instead of helping or even acknowledging the issue, the clinic dismissed us entirely. I strongly urge other pet owners to be cautious and consider seeking care elsewhere.

Without a doubt, this is the best veterinary practice that I've ever come into contact with. Recently I needed to speak to a vet - pronto - due to the fact that my daughter had a hold to adopt a dog from the Harris County Animal Shelter. The dog had a reaction to anesthesia during his required neuter surgery. Full details were relayed to me by the Harris County vet, but I wanted to consult with one of MY vets prior to proceeding with the adoption. Drs. Heimlich and Schmitt were not available, but Dr. Wolff called me back within a very short period of time. After explaining the situation, she gave me her professional opinion, spending quite a bit of time with me on the phone. We did decide to proceed with the adoption and promptly brought him for a check up (and for vaccines and meds that are not provided at the county shelter). As it so happened, Dr. Wolff was the only vet with an appointment late that afternoon, so we grabbed it. What a wonderful experience! Great manner with this new dog and with me - a client she had never met before. Visit was thorough and never rushed. I was very pleased. When we brought this new boy in for some boosters several weeks later, she had relayed all of his info and our discussions to Dr. Heimlich. I was grateful that she was so detailed in her notes regarding my phone call with her and our subsequent visit. Our dogs are truly members of our family. It's so nice to have a staff of vets that treat them with such care and concern. They are, simply, the BEST.

I took my cat, Nova, in for a routine spay and she ended up passing away due to hemorrhagic shock…read moreas a result of the sutures being "likely compromised". This was the exact wording that was used on the necropsy report. Dr. Zamora performed the surgery, and I'm currently in the process of filing a complaint against her with the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. The board will then determine if she violated Rule 573.22, Professional Standard of Care and Section 801.402(6) of the Veterinary Licensing Act. I'm happy to post updates on what the board concludes once the investigation is complete, but for now I will include the full details below and you all can decide for yourself if you feel comfortable taking your own pet to this clinic. This event occurred on 1/25/2024. Although I wanted our local community to know about this as soon as possible, I didn't want to compromise my complaint in anyway and I also needed some time to grieve in order to be able to discuss this from a factual standpoint rather than emotional. Nova went in for surgery at 7:15AM. I received a call at 9:52AM and I spoke with Zamora. Zamora informed me that Nova was out of surgery, and we agreed on a pickup time of 4:00PM. At this point I thought everything was fine and planned to leave my place of work at 3:00PM since it's an hour commute to the clinic. Per the surgery records, my cat started showing signs of lethargy at 11:25AM and was unresponsive at 1:30PM. It says in the notes that no bleeding was observed at the uterine stump, but this is inconsistent with the necropsy report which noted hemorrhage at the uterine stump. I had a missed call from Zamora at 2:59PM. Zamora left a voicemail saying Nova needed a blood transfusion, and that they do not have the blood on hand so I would need to take her to an emergency veterinary hospital. This makes me question why this clinic is performing surgeries without having adequate supplies on hand in the event of an error or complication. I was already on the way to pick her up at this time, due to my commute. I arrived at the clinic and rushed Nova to an emergency veterinary hospital nearby, where she unfortunately passed due to hemorrhagic shock. Per the necropsy report: "The suture was in place, but likely compromised. Often postsurgical activities compromise the sutures leading to hemorrhages from the surgical site." Nova was under Zamora's and the clinic's care during the time any "postsurgical activities" would occur between the time of surgery and the time she was unresponsive. I'm disappointed at how slow this moved. If I was informed sooner, I could have left work earlier to get to Nova so that she could receive a blood transfusion sooner. I brought my healthy cat in with no known medical issues, and when I picked her up, she was bleeding internally to the extent of needing a blood transfusion. She was under Zamora's/the clinic's care between those two points in time. The whole ordeal of having to pick up my cat's lifeless, unresponsive body and rush her to an emergency clinic was traumatizing to say the least. I hope that by sharing my story, others can make a more informed decision when selecting veterinary care for their beloved animals. Things like this simply should not happen. Please do better.
