The Houston Food Bank is nice but I'll admit I enjoyed my Montgomery food bank experience a little better. Maybe because it was a smaller group of just me and work colleagues. Half of us worked with produce in the refrigerated room which was great for me since I tend to sweat and get hot easily. Others measured beans and rice in another room. There was ample parking and they provided us coffee, water and snacks during our breaks.

(Even from other shelters) Even if you don't find your baby here your better off donating here or volunteering here rather than places that put animals down within 3 days. All of the cats are spayed/neutered and have all of their shots for $95. When I came too visit they had over 200 cats and a few kittens but I came early in the season for kittens.
