I come here once every few months whenever I am in need of a car wash. The wash and go price is fair and I'm satisfied with the results every time. I do like the free vacuuming area quite a bit! I've taken my mom's car here for a full detail before and didn't notice too much of a difference between the before and after. So I'd say this place is better just for your standard drive thru car wash rather than detailing in my opinion. Friendly customer service though! read more

I went to buy a new rear windshield wiper for my Jeep the took it to go get my Jeep washed. As I went through it not only ripped off my new wiper blade but also the arm. I reported to the attendant immediately and she said that they looked for it but couldn't find it. she said that they do a deep clean of the car wash on Sunday and nothing was put in lost and found. Either they didn't do a deep clean or they just threw my arm and wiper away. I talk to the Supervisor on duty that day and she gave me the feeling that they didn't care that they damaged my vehicle and refused to replace it even though I provided receipts. I plan to never return to this place. read more

Despite the bad experiences that other Yelpers seem to have experienced, I've had a pretty good experience with Texas Express Wash so far. This place is located pretty close to my work place and I drive by this place pretty much every day so one day when I needed a car wash, I decided to check it out. I joined because they were having a $10 1st month special and $20/month subsequently so what do I have to lose? Even after one wash, I will have my money worth already. I need to mention though, their 'unlimited' wash is not really unlimited. You're really limited to two washes per day. I love the vacuum stations because their vacuum cleaners actually have pretty strong suction. Most other car wash places have weak vacuum cleaners. I also enjoy the fact that they have towels to wipe down your car after going through the tunnel because we all know that your car never comes out dry, right? I've never tried their hand wash service and I don't think I ever will so I can't really comment about how good (or bad) they are. The only downside of this place is the fact that this is the only location. Which means I can only get a car wash when I'm near work (on weekdays only). And if it's raining on a Friday (like today when I'm writing this review), that means my car is going to be pretty dirty over the weekend, but oh well, that's my problem. I think if you live in the area, this is a pretty good car wash place to consider having a membership to. read more

I went to get an oil change and my battery died after they had finished. They helped by trying to get my truck started with no luck they kept the truck in the bay while I went and got a battery. When I got back they insisted on installing it and they made sure the truck was charging properly and they wiped down the truck afterwards. I did not expect any of this but Colin and Miles are fantastic people. They have made a lifelong customer! Highly recommend this place! They take care of you and go way above and beyond. We were in Houston for the Holidays, and we stopped by Texas Express Wash for a quick car wash before our Christmas Eve plans. It was impressive to see all the services they offer from oil change to car detailing. We were in and out so quickly, and the staff did a great job answering any questions we had. I got my daughter's car inspected here. I worked with Miles and not only did he get it taken care of quickly and efficiently, but he was so nice and polite. He was also helpful with questions I had about the car. His coworker (whose name was Carlos I think) was also very polite and personable. The waiting area was clean and cool. Terrible service. Paid 40.00 for a hand wash, when I picked up the car the interior was still dirty. I asked the attendant to get the dog hair out of the back. He tried to convince me it wouldn't come out. I had him turn on the vacuum and I removed the hair in less than 10 minutes, which by the way was less time than it took for them to find my car keys. Manager indifferent. What they didn't realize is that I use them to wash our fleet vehicles trucks, or should I say used to use them. Car wash by my house never has an issue. Lesson learned. Not a fan of the new business. I have a shop vac and power wash at home. They have cut about 90% of the employees and it is more or less self-service now. I was willing to pay a bit extra for the previous service. Barber gone. Dent removal service gone. Inspection was closed today (mine expires this month). Vacuum your own car. No longer clean floor mats. Soap brush guy before entering wash gone. Hand dry gone (not only did this dry it removed the dirt film). In summary, we were loyal customers for years but now see no reason to go. read more

very poor customer service from a tall, skinny, racist manager who threatened to call the police on me because i had my music playing. meanwhile there were no other customers around, no signs of "no music playing allowed, but he begin to state this was policy, and when I asked for proof he couldn't provide and begin to walk away". I was the only car there as my children were vacuuming out our suv. he was very ignorant, and unprofessional. I had a membership here for the last 3yrs since moving to houston. I have never experienced such from any other staff member. the others are always helpful, welcoming, and just show great customer service. this is not actually the first time I ran into an issue with this "manager" here on premise, but it marks the 2nd time. I can tell he picks, and choose who he want to be arrogant towards, but this stops here. I'm looking to speak directly to the owner of this establishment because he for sure is not a good fit for customer service nor his title here. Great car wash. SUV came through the wash clean and shining. Not the usual streaking and spots that I have received at other car wash places. The vacuum bays are awesome and really get the job done quickly. The towel area was stocked well so I was able to quickly wipe down the interior areas that needed some extra special care. They are under new ownership so I am happy to go back and try out additional services. The detail service, lube and my inspection. Very pleased and will be back soon. read more

The word "Express" has no business in the name of this place. Despite it being relatively empty on an early Monday afternoon it took well over an hour to get a simple hand car wash. They are understaffed and those that are there take their sweet time and don't appear to be in any sort of a rush at all. Won't be coming back. read more

Went to Texas Express Car Wash to have my car detailed. Was a little concerned, based on many of the previous reviews. My experience was top notch, from beginning to end. They got my car in quickly, and completely detailed the interior and exterior in just over an hour. They even cleaned the spokes on my wheels and applied Armor-All to the tires. The whole process was reasonably priced, and much less than what was charged at other local places. Highly recommend this place! read more

I truly appreciated that and understand it was not his fault that two employees (now former employees) decided to close this establishment 30 minutes earlier that scheduled. Did my state inspection and something was not correct the technician spend one hour and found out the thermostat sensor was loose but still working . He fixed it at no cost and recommended to drive a bit and see if issue came back.very honest I found. And when issue did eventually came back they fixed it without charging inspection cost again + added complimentary cleaning. read more

I visited Texas Express car wash today. They no longer offer a full service drive through car wash. They offer an express service where you clean your own interior and tires yourself. I needed a good cleaning and a thorough vacuum. They offered me a hand wash for a reasonable price. They did a fantastic job and it was ready when promised. I recommend this service and I will be back. read more
