I worried about mineral build-up in appliances and was tired of having to replace faucets and the shower head because of how awful they would end up looking. Additionally, the water just tasted 'off' and would leave a residue in a pot when I boiled anything. I wanted to be able to get off of bottled water for drinking and cooking. Since Texas Drinking Water Systems installed a whole house softener system and RO system in the kitchen, I no longer use bottled water for drinking or cooking and the mineral build up on fixtures has been eliminated. I wish I had this done sooner! The techs at Texas Drinking Water Systems even called me a year after installation to remind me to change the RO filters; hows that for service? They also were happy to schedule an appointment with me to reinstall the RO system after cabinet installers dismantled the system. While they were out they gave the softener system a 'once over' to make sure everything was still running as it should. Scheduling an appointment with them was quick, they were on time, and Mark was very personable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

When we bought our house it already had a Texas Drinking Water Systems reverse osmosis system installed and we could not be happier with it. We love the way the system makes our water taste; we definitely notice a huge difference if we ever taste regular tap water now. When we contacted the previous owner, she recommended we continue using TDWS for service and maintenance, and we are grateful for her advice! The customer service at TDWS has been excellent, they call us once a year to give us a reminder that it's time to have our system serviced and are extremely friendly and professional when they come to our home. I have always dealt with Mark Mitchell (head technician). Mark is the most knowledgeable person I know when it comes to water systems, testing, treatments, installation and general plumbing. He has been servicing our water wells for many years and is always professional, personable and responds quickly to our needs. The people in the office are extremely courteous and professional as well. I stop by here every week to buy my drinking water. I started with the reverse osmosis water but quickly switched to the alkaline. Recently, they have improved their alkaline water with organic minerals, etc. Best water ever! Live in Carrollton, Texas and our municipal water is from a lake. It is highly treated and chlorine is both the smell and taste. Not good for my husband's gout. With our filter system, we drink water more often and he has way fewer gout attacks. If you don't have a water filter through TDWS, you ARE a water filter! Let that sink in. read more

Our water tastes so much better since getting the reverse osmosis system. The lime buildup is gone. Our stainless appliances are easier to clean because the calcium is gone. Our garden hoses have significantly less lime buildup. read more
