This used to be our favorite restaurant to come to, but, I am very disappointed in our service we received today. The server touched our table only twice after we got our food, and we waited over 15 minutes for a manager to come and run our gift cards. Because of this, we weren't able to order the lamb chops that we wanted to. The server also didn't sell the desserts or even offer us an after dinner drink (coffee, tea, etc.). Rather, she brought the dessert plate over and says "I know this is a hard sell, but wanted to bring this over". We all were planning on getting dessert with coffee & tea, but based on how long we waited to get everything else, we didn't want to wait any longer. Very disappointed in this location now. Arrived early to my reservations. Sat at the bar while I waited and bartender's never took my drink order. They kept ignoring me and acting like they were busy. When my party arrived we were seated and greeted by our waitress. Soon after we were all bombarded with servers asking if we wanted meat. All within 1-2min of each other. They put everything on one bill and someone in the party had to pay and the party divided it up between themselves. That's ridiculous considering we had a party of 8 people (keep this number in mind). I was the lucky guy that got voted to pay. After paying we packed up and left. It wasn't till I got home that I realized they over charged us. They said there was 9 of us when we only had 8. I called in the very next day and the hostess said the manager was too busy to talk but they would send the info up to HR to review the video footage and count our party. It was during the holidays so she said it would take about a week. I waited a week with no contact. I called back after a week and got fed the same crap about the manager being busy and HR hasn't looked at the tapes yet. I work for a large car dealership and we can pull up tapes within a minute so I have no idea why they are feeding me these lies. Hostess said I should hear something within the week. Again I waited another week with no contact. I called back again and yet again no manager available to talk and HR still hasn't reviewed the tapes. I would file a dispute with my CC but the only info I have is a receipt saying there were 9 of us when there was only 8. Not my favorite location of the options we have in the area. I went with a group of 8 and our experience was very mediocre. Our drinks were filled maybe 3 times at most... we went at least 30 minutes without water at one point. Totally get its super busy, but it was a long time to go without any drinks. The rotation of meats also seemed lacking. There was never a single moment where every person from our entire group who wanted whatever meat was being offered actually got served... they'd serve 3 or 4 people and just walk away. Came here on a first date back in 2022 and had a great time! Huge space, jungle-ly decor and swift service. The meats come around and you'll never go hungry. I typically go to fogo de chao for my birthday every year but my friends couldnt make the extra hour drive for my birthday so we tried this knock off version. They asked if we were celebrating anything (my birthday). Which at this point im thinking of nice at least ill get a free desert (i was wrong). Then we were asked what we would like to drink not given simple tap water as an option so my buddy panics and says still water. So we ended up paying for bottles of tiktok saratoga water. We are warned the meat is cooked "medium rare" which is fine but i didnt see a single piece of meat that was red/pink; everything was gray/well done my friends were convinced we were eating goose meat. Every bites probably had 5 grams of salt on it. The filet and sirloin were alright but everything else was some sick joke. Then we helped ourselves to the salad bar/middle table where i had a decent caesar salad and i watched my friends try to eat a lobster bisque that was legit just canes sauce that tasted like water with tomatoes thrown in it. We saw our server like 3 times; she meant well but wow. The desert was solid i had a carrot cake that was alright and my buddies cheesecake was very good. When the bill came out to see they charged my desert it made me really confused why they even asked if we were celebrating anything. We had a very uncomfortable and disappointing experience. While a large group of white guests was seated in the main hall, we, Asian, were placed all the way in the corner where no one else was around. The area was dark and isolating, and it truly felt like we were being separated from everyone else. Because of this, the server seemed to neglect our table. The number of times they checked on us was noticeably fewer compared to other tables, which made us feel ignored and unwelcome. This experience felt discriminatory and extremely unpleasant. What an excellent New Year's Eve we had at Texas de Brazil! From the moment we walked in the door we were made to feel special. The gentleman that seated us placed the napkin in our laps. The salad bar was amazing. It had everything you could want and more. The meat was cooked to perfection and the meat guys came around quickly when they saw our tags flipped to green. Nice assortment of beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. But the star of the night was our waiter. I believe his name was Alex. That was some of the best service we have had at any restaurant! However, the man at the bar made my order appear in seriously five minutes. It was miraculously fast and I'm grateful as I was on a serious time crunch with this food! The cheese bread was soft and savory with a wonderful chewy sort of gummy ness from the unique tapioca starch ingredient. It did make a delicious job of soaking up the lamb juices though! The potatoes au gratin were super creamy and rich. Sort of buttery cheesy flavor. The bananas foster cake is unbelievably good!! I've been to this location a half dozen times and always had great service and food. Went last night for Thanksgiving and the service was downright awful. First I'll say the food was still great as usual. Our entire issue was service based. We got sat and waited over 30 minutes with no greeting or drinks. I had to go back up to the host stand and get someone to our table. After that we still never received plates and our drinks took another 20 minutes. My 4 year old spilled her drink and we got it cleaned up but they never once brought her a refill despite asking twice. I got 1 refill the entire 2 hours and the first one was drank by my daughter. After our desert order it took another 35 minutes to get our check. We had 2 small kids and 5 adults. We've been here when it was busier and we watched the tables around us get much better service. I'm very let down by this entire experience honestly. We paid a premium for good service and food and barely for a portion of that. Not sure we will be back. I'll also note the table we were sat at, right by the wine area, the floors were so slippery I almost fell standing up twice. read more

We had a signed contract, paid a deposit, and confirmed a private room for our party of 18 guests. When we arrived, we found our reserved room was already occupied. Instead of correcting their mistake or offering a real solution, Manager Christina Gullett was rude, dismissive, and clearly unbothered by the situation. She gave us three unacceptable options: * Wait for the current guests to leave our room, * Share the space with strangers, * Or call corporate ourselves--with nothing but a scribbled, illegible email on a scrap of paper. As we tried to respectfully discuss the issue, Christina walked away mid-sentence, refusing to acknowledge us. Then--completely unprovoked and without cause--she called the police on our group, even though we remained calm and respectful the entire time. This was not just unprofessional--it was humiliating and discriminatory. The situation was handled with zero accountability, zero empathy, and a complete disregard for our time, money, and dignity. We were made to feel like an inconvenience instead of respected paying customers. This location violated our contract, disrespected our group, and showed a stunning lack of basic hospitality. This was an unfortunate experience for us. We've been to Brazilian steak houses before that we loved, but we will not be returning here. We arrived at 3:00 for reservations which is when they open. Our waitress was actually very friendly and she was great, but we didn't start getting meat coming around to the tables until about 3:30/3:40. They kept saying they were preparing the meats but I'm convinced they were waiting for more people to get to the restaurant before serving the food. I say this because all of the meat they brought out was well done, and it's supposed to be served medium rare. We just continued to pass on meat and finally asked our waitress to let the servers know we specifically wanted medium rare. The meat itself had no flavor. I don't think they used salt or pepper at all. Everything was bland and the finish of the meat was extremely inconsistent. It got to the point where both me and my fiance were still hungry, but didn't even want anything they were bringing around. They stopped serving our table at like 4:10ish. There was one slice of meat I wanted to have again before leaving so I requested it, and they never brought it. They just kept walking past us. I understand we got there at 3 but we didn't even get served until 3:30/3:40 and for a while it was well done so it's not like we were even eating the food. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and everything seemed clean. The manager there knew we were celebrating two events and actually gave us two desserts for free which I thought was extremely nice, so grateful for that for sure. But no, I would not return and would not recommend. Honestly would rather go to Longhorn for a steak. This was extremely underwhelming for what they charge and what the expectations are. Also, Texas De Brazil as a whole is extremely exclusive when it comes to their coupons. You can spend all the money in the world there but you cannot redeem most of their coupons on the weekends which isn't right when people travel an hour plus to visit a restaurant. That'd be all. Saturday, April 5th I arrived with a group of women that had a reservation for the party room for the purpose of a business seminar. The reservation was confirmed with credit card on file along with a signed contract to secure the room. However, Christina Gullet Manager informed our party the reservation could not be honored. She made no attempt to correct the situation. This reservation was for 18 women. The only restitution Christina offered was a handwritten scribbled email address to corporate. While we had a good experience, I dont think it lives up to the hype. It's a very interesting concept. The servers walk around with random meats and if you want them to add more to your plate you leave your food chip on green...want them to leave you alone then just turn your chip upside down. I can see why people like it, but for my tastes and at the price they are charging I'd prefer to know exactly what Im ordering vs the random meats walking around. Came here a couple of years ago when they first opened. My husband is from Brazil and it is really hard to get Brazilian food / groceries in the Cleveland area. That said the first time we came here a couple of years ago, it was ok, but nothing like what he could cook at home in terms of how they actually prepare it in Brazil. Flash forward to yesterday and they really stepped up their game. The "salad bar" offerings were pretty similar to the things he was missing from back home. They added the potato salad, prosciutto, cheeses, lamb sauce and had a pretty authentic Brazilian "scalloped" potato, which was the first time I had tried, and he got very excited about. The meats were of course good, as they always have been. The banana they gave on the side was sooo good. All in all, we will be back soon. Only recommendation would be on the cheese balls - not sure if they are cooking them in cup cake pans or what, but they are traditionally a little more doughy and more cheese. read more

I just want to start this off by saying i literally had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER in this restaurant and it literally left me on tears how i was treated.. My husband and i "loved" and i say this in past tense because i will never return again.. this used to be my favorite restaurant to go to since it opened not to far from where i live.. i set a reservation to go eat.. before i even got there i received a call that they needed to push my reservation back an hour.. I'm pregnant so not eating for an extra hour changed my plans completely.. i accepted that this was beyond my control and took the 4:30 reservation.. I specifically asked for a table that wasn't near bathrooms, the kitchen, or a window and yet we were place in that exact location.. I'm a stay at home mom currently and i only get a chance to get out every now and then because I'm always taking care of the baby and I'm close to having another.. but it was our anniversary and my husband wanted to get me out the house and allow me to have a day with no cooking.. My waitress was amazing.. always asking if the food was good and even giving us a complimentary dessert because she found out it was our anniversary.. my cup of water remained full and she was very nice.. But here's where i was upset.. we never got asked did we want meat.. my plate stayed empty.. it was so bad my waitress thought we were done eating and brought out the dessert it was so bad.. It was shocking because i know i was treated poorly because the man carrying the meat literally said "excuse me" and walked right past me with a sword full of meat to ask other tables if they wanted some.. if u can say excuse me then u can also ask me if i wanted some seeing as my plate was empty.. I have never had an experience like this so i brought it up to my waitress.. she said she would send the manager over but the manager never came.. I was so confused and overwhelmed with emotions that i literally cried.. to pay $51 per person and be treated so poorly made me question why i even came out.. when my waitress came back to check if we had been asked did we want something i just cried.. the manager was finally walking by so she was pulled over to my table.. she listened to what i had to say but the look in her face showed she could care less and this is how she wanted her restaurant to be ran.. i believe this happened to me based on the color of my skin and it was blatantly obvious.. all the other tables had meat and were constantly being asked if they wanted more.. It makes me sad because the neighborhood we live in is very diverse and nice.. to treat ppl of color in such a manner showed we weren't welcome to eat there.. i have never experienced this any other time I've been.. we literally go once a year for our anniversary an always enjoy the experience but this time showed me this establishment isn't the same and the new management want it run a certain way that biased towards ppl like me.. We're huge fans of Brazilian steakhouses and it's safe to say that this is one of our all time favorites! The ambiance is amazing here, with dimmer lighting, great music and on point decor. The salad bar is located in the middle and had some amazing options. There was definitely less options there than at fogo de Chau but if you're coming for the salad bar, you're doing it wrong. The drink menu was amazing and we ended up with cachacas that were absolutely amazing- highly recommend the coconut one! Now, onto the star of the night- the meat. We were absolutely blown away by the flavor, tenderness and juiciness of the meat they brought out. My personal favorite was the garlic picana, but everything I tried ended up being amazing. Their seasoning is perfect- I sometimes feel like places will underseason the meat, but here, they have achieved perfection. Definitely wish we got some more photos of the meat, but we were WAY too busy chowing down to get any. Lena our server was absolutely incredible! She was super attentive and knowledgeable about what's good and gave us amazing suggestions. I'm not really sure what the other reviews had said about bad service- it appeared that every table was well taken care of the entire time we were there. The managers were also incredible attentive and they came up to us several times to ask how our meal was- top points for that! We came here to celebrate our anniversary and they ended up giving us a dessert for the occasion. When I tell you their Brazilian cheesecake might be one of the best cheesecakes I have ever had... wow! If you have ANY room in your stomach after this meal, I highly recommend getting a slice to share. One thing to note is that considering the price point, diners definitely dressed more casual than I expected, so if you're stressing about what to wear, anything is okay.
