All symptoms are now gone and I'm loving life! SWOG runs a fine tuned machine. From the appointment person all the way to the billing dept. My only complaint is the hold times on the phone! Taylor Lackey is professional, knowledgeable, and very well manages his time. Most of my visits, I have be able to see him in just 5 minutes. Only one time that I needed to wait about half an hour. Overall never a very long wait. Dr. Lackey well planed and it really helped saving patients' time. When he knew the reasons of my visit, he ordered me for an x-ray in prior to see him, and he told me that I could call to get an MRI order without the need to go to his office again. I have seen Dr. Lackey for my tennis and golf elbows, my dislocated tendon at my pinky finger, and lately a lump at my inner elbow. He is very attentive and provided me with the necessary physical therapy and medication. Claudia, Dr. Lackey's Medical Assistant, has been very kind, considerate, and attentive. She has tried her best to coordinate the doctor's orders and the x-ray unit in order to make it as fast and effective as possible. She has gone over everything slowly to make sure I understand everything right. Maybe the clinic has been too busy lately causing me a hard time reaching her. I left 2 voice messages and have been waiting over 48 hours, but never got a call back. I needed to leave the 3rd message before getting a call back causing me almost unable to get my MRI scheduled before my long trip. The front desk ladies or the scheduling ladies are very nice, always very helpful and are excellent at their jobs! When she knew I couldn't get a schedule at Austin Sports Medicine Lab, she recommended me 3 other labs in Austin and the near by areas and fax out my MRI order to all other labs right away. Finally, I could get my MRI scheduled on the last day before my traveling. I have experienced some difficulty at the x-ray unit inside Austin Sports Medicine. I have had conditions at both of my arms, but the x-ray technologist did the x-ray only one of my arms. I told him right away, but he refused to check even if I asked him politely and more than one time. When Claudia found out, she talked to the technologist and asked him to do the x-ray again for my another arm. Instead of fixing the mistake and having me next in line, he seemed upset and put me the last in line! And this time I waited over 30-40 minutes and still couldn't get an x-ray. Ended up Claudia told me that Dr. Lackey would pull my old x-ray for my another arm, so I didn't need to wait longer. I just wish the technologist was cared to listen to patients and spent a little time double check things. It could help prevent the mistakes from happening and save a large a mount of time for both patients and himself. In Sum: I highly recommend Austin Sports Medicine and Dr J. Taylor Lackey!

Not very impressed with this office at all…read more First - There is zero parking available. (The worst I've ever seen at a doctor's office). People were circling, and alot were parked illegally, even in the grass. I was forced to park next door at all the retail shops, even though there were a ton of signs saying they'd tow. Not really a great first impression. Second - My appointment with Dr. Meghpara felt very rushed, and was not near as thorough as other doctor's I've seen (and what I would require to consider it a worthwhile visit). It was my fault for not getting x-rays from another doctor over in time before my appointment (the office didn't remind me to bring any, and I honestly just didn't think about it until a few days before). I did bring my MRI images and report, and he basically said he had no use for those. I asked if we should take another X-ray at the office, so that he could see my current state, and he basically said it wasn't necessary. He also had me do only a few movements in the office (totaling about 10 seconds) to test out my pain, whereas two other doctors had alot more comprehensive exam. He then proceeded to give me his opinion without examining any x-rays or (from what it seemed) the MRI CDs I had brought in. He just went off of what I told him my situation was, what my last doctor had said (a few weeks before), and basically agreed with that assessment. At this point I was just ready to leave, as I was already disappointed and knew that he is not a doctor I would return to. I wish I would've just avoided going there for another opinion, and wasting $80.

He has taken care of trigger fingers, a bicep tear, rotatory cuff, and carpal tunnel. He does not advocate for surgery until there are no other options. I have had 2 surgeries and they have both been a success. Dr. Amis also has a great rapport with his patients. Friendly, calm, and caring. Also, wait time in minimal with appointments.

Dr Rafii gave me and extra year with my husband. My husband experienced right side weakness and…read moretrouble walking , he seen his Primary who chalked it up to being a pinched nerve and gave him muscle relaxers. After going back and forth with his primary and not getting anywhere we sought out the assistance of Dr. Rafii. Dr. Rafii cared, listened and tried to get things figured out with my husband. After a few visits with Dr. Rafii and no real sense of relief for my husband Dr. Rafii did something he said he's never done and ordered a brain MRI...where they found 13 tumors on my husband brain. With the evidence in hand as horrible as it was we had an answer. We later found out that my husband had small cell lung cancer that had metastasized to his brain and he passed just a year later. If it wasn't for Dr. Rafii I don't think we would have even had that year. I am forever grateful for Dr. Rafii and his team for their compassion and care. May God be with you all.

I hardly ever write reviews... but this one is long overdue…read more I had been seeing Dr. Raffi for about a year, and due to personal reasons I had to switch Dr's for maintenance of flair ups. I'm starting an intensive physical therapy program and hoping I won't need maintenance for too much longer. That being said, I am grateful for the time I had with Dr. Rafii. Dealing with a chronic pain condition can be stressful for the Dr. and patient both. But navigating those waters of trial and error didn't seem bad at all with him. It felt more like a team collaboration. Even when times were easy to give up and refer me out...he didn't. It was actually that exact act of kindness that made me want to explore outside of the box of just traditional pain meds. I felt like I had a cheerleader as cheesy as that sounds. It's really hard to find a good Dr. these days and especially one that makes you WANT to get better. Kuddos to you, Dr. Rafii. Thank you for your help. And, she puts her brain to work for her patients. She's helped me immensely, takes a root cause approach, and really thinks about the entire patient when it comes to health. In my opinion, she's also a beautiful mix of traditional internal medicine and integrative medicine. She's knowledgable across the spectrum and thoughtful in her approach. She's quick to offer OTC and home remedies for ailments. But, she also politely and diplomatically tells me when I need to consider taking antibiotics. She's also efficient when it comes to treatments and their costs. She was able to swap me from 2 injectable and 1 oral med that were all pricey for BHRT to a simple birth control pill that is free with my insurance. I also have a chronic condition that was dormant and has flared back up. She's been so patient and so kind with my angsty self. I truly feel fortunate that she's my doctor. I feel like we are partners in my health! And, the whole team at Euphora is great. They are all friendly and patient-focused. It's a wonderful place to get care.
