My husband and I live in Midland but we were referred to Elite Steam by friends of ours in Lubbock…read more They have used this carpet cleaning company and highly recommended them. Since Midland is 2 hours from Lubbock, Ryan (the owner) wanted to fill a Midland day so they could come down and clean our carpets. We weren't in a huge rush so the nearly 4 week wait was ok with us. Ryan and his helper (sorry, can't recall his name) were great! They were very professional and friendly. And the best part... Elite Steam did a FANTASTIC job on our bedroom carpets. Our 3 little monsters did a number on the carpets with their snacks and drinks. I'd say about 98% of the stains came out. There were a few stains that had already been set in... probably due to me TRYING various stain removal products on them only to not remove the stain. (Note: Ryan recommends only water and vinegar to remove stains.) Oh, and I LOVE the smell of their cleaner. So fresh and clean. We definitely recommend Elite Steam!

Completely unprofessional especially since I was offering my space to help them park and my neighbor and I getting in trouble with usps for THEM obstructing the mailman/mailwoman from delivering our mail. I was sick and the crazy wind made me hoarse so I was just yelling a bit so they could hear me. Hey "BOSS", next time figure out what the situation is before you come out yellin. I love my neighbor, absolutely, and was trying to help yall to help her and you came outside looking like a total jerk screaming at me. It's not my fault I'm hoarse and your dudes couldn't hear me over the 65mph gusts of wind. Stay away, very unprofessional. Not impressed with how they treat ppl. They obstruct everything then tell you to call the number on the truck if you have a problem. THEN go get big "boss" to come out and scream at you like a freaking idiot. You have a loooong way to go in maturity before you could ever run a truly successful business as your customer service skills leave MUCH to be desired. Might want to take a workshop in growing your customer service skills. I've worked in customer service my whole life and what you did was truly tragic. You didn't even know what was going on and you still came out yelling and acting condescending. No apology for misunderstanding the situation nothin. I'd rate a 0 if it would let me.

The guys who came out to do the work were courteous and professional. A job was agreed upon over the phone - shame on me for not getting it in writing, because despite months of calls explaining to office staff that the job was not complete, I only heard from management when they wanted to collect in full on their bill. Look elsewhere - Lubbock is full of good, honest businesses, but this one is not that.

We needed our carpets cleaned for a move out: living space and three bedrooms. The entire process…read moreonly took an hour, and the results were great. One bedroom had severe spot issues with cat vomit and smell, and they cleaned it efficiently and got most of the smell out of all the carpets. The total price was $338, extremely reasonable for four rooms with cleaning, vacuuming, and deodorizing. They even provided a complementary pet deodorizer for our new residence! Before arriving, I received a phone call letting me know the technician was on the way. I also received a text message with a photo of the technician and a bit of background information. This way, I knew who to expect and he wasn't quite a stranger when he arrived. Both the technician and his partner introduced themselves and shook my hand upon arrival, and asked me to explain the situation and show them the rooms. After a quick survey and conversation, they explained the steps they would take to clean the carpets. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I will call Carpet Tech any time I need a carpet cleaning in the future.

We had our living room flood from the heavy rain we got. We got 3-4 inches within 30 minutes. It…read morecame through the back door and started spreading throughout half of our living room. We could not handle it with our tiny shop vacs, and I knew enough about flooding because I was an assistant property manager prior, so I knew to call right away before structural damage occurred. I called Carpet Tech, but some automated system told me to wait for the next available person. I was NOT doing that, so I hung up and saw Ace in the phone book (which is really good for a town like Lubbock, because a lot of good vendors are not online yet). So I called and Hector answered, and was very nice. It was about 10 pm and he was not grouchy or rude, and did not act like we were an inconvenience. He was here in about 20 minutes and he assessed the damage and set up the fans and dehumidifier. He explained how it would work, and what the process would be. He left the equipment here for about 4 days, and then when he came back out he found that we had pulled up the carpet pad so we could salvage that and dry it out. He said it was ok, glued it back down, and stretched the carpet out because we had pulled it back so the pad could dry. He stretched out the carpet as much as he could, but the former residents put the tag strip on vinyl flooring instead of the concrete itself, so it cannot have too much tension because then it would rip out of the vinyl. It still looks good for what he can do with it, but I am annoyed at people that cut corners. I would recommend Hector, and he is very friendly. This is our first experience as homeowners to have a flood, so we are glad it wasn't made worse by calling someone else!
