Before I even had the chance to pay, the clerk ripped the items out of my hands, accused me of stealing a beer, and ordered me out of the store. I had already paid for my fuel. Being treated like a criminal in front of others was humiliating and completely unprofessional. Management needs to review the cameras from that time, train their staff properly, and issue an apology for how I was treated.

A good place to stop…read more Driving back from Oregon to Sac there are not a whole lot of gas and bathroom stops at some points. Saw a sign for this place and was a little leery as I did not want to get way off track in the mountains. But, it is right off the off ramp. They had bathrooms open to the public on the side as well as a portable toilet for crowds on weekends I guess. Pretty clean just a bit on the older side. The pumps were newer and the prices were what you would expect along that route. The store was clean well stocked. The lady working there was very friendly. I would stop here for sure in the future.

Most of the staff are busy working on winter repairs of the facility, so if you need someone, call first. Noone will ever answer the phone, so just leave a message. They are responsive. I rented PWC SeaDoo's. They were newer and in good condition. Expensive, but worth it. They are not good communicators, but nice friendly people. Expect to take an hour to rent anything, and another hour to return and process paperwork. It's the only game in town, on the north end of the Sacramento arm, of Shasta Lake. Overall, the marina and docks were in good condition. They have gas too.

Having left my purse (with all my worldly…read moregoods) at the station on my way back to the Bay Area (and a horrific long drive from Idaho in bad weather), I can't say enough about the honesty and helpfulness of the management when I discovered my loss in Vacaville. Immediate care and reassurance for a frazzled traveler was given over the phone by the night manager and the day manager went out of her way on her own time to stop by the local FedEx place to overnight my purse back to me. There are human guardian angels in Mt. Shasta, and Jessica, Daisia, and Matthew are three of them! (Not to mention the dear lady who found it who was also on her way home after a equally horrible drive home from Las Vegas!) Counting Blessings!!
