This is in regards to the gas station at Houston Richmond St. location. I have always had pleasant…read moreexperiences except for today at around 1:10PM (3/27/2026) when the car behind me was filling the car with his engine on. I was not sure at first because there is a clear sign and I didn't believe my ear. So when the attendant was walking by that car so I asked him if the car behind me had the engine on while the driver was filling the gasoline. The attendant confirmed that the engine was on but didn't do anything, shrugged and walked away. The driver behind me then started to harass me saying that this is not California (I'm Asian) and told me to mind my own business and continued belittling me. Hello???? He was endangering everyone with his engine on, WTFking stupid idiot! Costco, train your gas station attendant properly to handle this type of situation, please!!

Then I asked to speak with the corporate manager and the shift manager there lied and told me he was the corporate manager which I know is another lie because the corporate manager wouldn't be working at the gas station. Anyways, I went to the Shell right down the street and they accepted my cash and I was able to pump gas there. If corporate gets a chance to see this, train your employees to not be so ignorant. I will never pump at Chevron again. I will be pumping my gas at Shell from now on.

We didn't get food, because we were only there for icees. Sucks cause only 2 out of 8 icee machines worked. Annoyingly, the flavors we wanted weren't ready so got a less favored option. The cashier mentioned it takes forever for the icees to actually be good consistency. We didn't have time to wait.. and another guy also left cause he couldn't wait. Pricing is cheap! We had a Tmobile deal so got it for free. The sign said almost 2 dollars, but it rang up less than a dollar for a large icee? Not sure but it was like 85cents! We didn't get anything else... so I'd give it a shot for maybe snacks next time! Side note, nothing was dirty around the area, and it felt clean. The soda machine was leaking soda or water.. couldn't tell and couldn't stop it!
