The CK of today are bright and clean with surprisingly good coffee, friendly clerks and clean bathrooms. This CK is off of Chastain, George Busbee by Kennesaw State and Townpark Way. If you take Townpark Way you will circle (get it? Circle K and circle...) around to the back of the retail shops such as Dunkin Donuts, Chipote, Capriotti, Panda Express and Tropical Smoothie cafe. Town Park Way dead ends onto Town Park Lane which takes you to another shopping center with Chick Fit A, Panera Bread, Embassy Suites and Ruth Chris Steak House. Town Park Lane takes you back on George Busbee and or Chastain so either way you're going to be fine. This Circle K is connected to a Chevron station.....

Stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street and checked in Thursday evening. Got up Friday with a bunch of running to do including the Grandkids meeting Santa at Town Centre Mall, new shoes at Coggins in Marietta, lunch and finally back to the hotel for a nap. Some additional running to start out with a run to Kohl's on Cobb to pick up a new set of underwear for me since my wife missed them in packing. her standing joke is that I always forget something. Gas gauge showed about a quarter of a tank so decided to just go across the street to Chevron. With the median dividers and no u-turns, it took a bit of navigation to get there. Gas was $3.39.9 which seemed at bit high because the day before when I filled up in Denver, I paid $2.89.9 but local markets vary in part driven by State Taxes. Accepted it because of one of the hazards of travel and what else could you do. Drove over to Kohl's on Cobb Parkway which was about 5 miles away and the price at all of the gas stations including Chevon was $3.19.9 or 2O cents less expensive. Later when we got over to Town Centre Mall for the photo's with Santa, there was a Quik Trip with gas at $3.04.9, Something is not right. This Chevron is in the middle of KSU and granted between two interstates, is making it more difficult for College/University Students who in many cases, the extra 30 cents a gallon could impact an already tight budget. I remember back in antiquity when I was a College Student when every penny counted.

Now it's April 29th and I believe it was last weekend, could have been the one previous, and here we go again.. it was a Sunday, over an hour before the posted closing time and THEY WERE CLOSED! It's happening AGAIN ... My question to the Murphy Oil is how do you actually still manage to keep your Company from going bankrupt and losing everything if you're Chastain Store is an appropriate example of the expectations that you, the Company's leadership team are an example of your expectations and the Company's own failure to deliver a sustainable business plan that is more sustainable and effective in the actual field therefore the actual closing of an entire location would never have occurred and there would be contingency plans in place. Please, STAFF the store and have the store stocked and running during the limited hours that have been changed Thank you for your consideration and help.Also I do hope that whoever has the misfortune of Overseeing this Store that you have a new drive and a clear passion for creating a culture for your customer's experiences to succeed their expectations. I used to be a regular customer until I kept coming and the store would never be open. Then a new…read moremanager took over and she ran it into the ground. Her attitude was horrible she would scream and cuss at the customers. The store was always dirty and ran down. I stopped by chance 2 months ago, I can say it has completely changed. It's clean and well stocked and the staff they have hired or fast and friendly. I consider myself a regular customer again. Not too mention the prices for cigarettes and and gas can't be beat.

This QT is located just off I-575 exit 20 - SR 5 Bus. (Riverstone Parkway, Ball Ground Highway) - Canton, Ball Ground. There are 18 pumps at this station, arranged in a single row. This station carries the usual three grades of unleaded fuel plus diesel and no ethanol fuel. I think this is the first QT I've encountered that offers ethanol-free gas (E087). It costs more than regular and mid-grade unleaded, but is slightly less expensive than premium unleaded. It comes out from a different nozzle with a red handle (as opposed to the standard black handle for unleaded and green for diesel). This station is spacious with easy in-and-out access. It's across the street from RaceTrac so you have options. It's also sandwiched in between two rental car places (one of which is Enterprise) which is convenient if you're returning a rental.

FIRESTONE told me I needed my air filter and cabin air filter changed, do a brake fluid exchange, flush out my coolant and get a battery corrosion package. They also said I need new tires right away or else it won't last until my next oil change. Joe at Coastal told me I didn't need an air filter, they most likely didn't even check the cabin air filter (Firestone took 30 minutes to do an oil change and it takes 30 minutes to check just the cabin filter), brake fluid exchange is almost never necessary, my coolant is clean, and he cleaned the corrosion that was on my battery and put a protectant over it for free. He also checked my tires and said I have a few thousand miles before I need to absolutely change them. I am moving to Pittsburgh and he said I could even drive there without a problem. Oh, I also had a scratch on the front driver's side of the car, but he actually cleaned off the paint of what I hit for free. Joe is a really honest, trustworthy, and a knowledgeable guy!! He has been doing this for 30 years! He said dealerships and big companies try to get services done because they get commission. He says he's there to make money BUT more to help save money for the customers. I believe it because I tried to pay him but he declined. My family and I have been here multiple times and he always treats us really well.
