Charging was very slow. Longer than usual wait time, just have to sit in the car nothing else to do unless your staying at the hotel.

8 superchargers at this location. Not close to anything but a small hotel. No close-by food options. Only bathroom option may be the hotel but I didn't check. No trash cans available so trash was left all over the curbs and dirt behind the chargers. read more

We stopped at this Supercharger as our first stop after starting from San Diego and headed to Tucson. These were not fast chargers by any means, but if you plan to walk the old town main street, you wont be in a hurry. I had researched the area the night before and found that despite the reviews, there is actually quite a bit to see just a block away. The supercharger was empty when we arrived and we walked the 8 minutes towards the old town area with our two dogs, finding a bunch of grass along the way - a rare find at Superchargers in southern Arizona. Upon returning, we saw 2 other cars in stalls, the same 2 cars we would see at other chargers along the way. We ate lunch at a great brewery called Prison Hill Brewing Company. Great beer selection, and pretty decent food. Bathrooms available inside. On our return back to San Diego, we tried the Pint House which is across the main street and also found it to be a good waiting spot. Yuma was quiet, partly because of the Thanksgiving weekend, but also because of the pandemic and a lot of stores being closed. But its worth checking out the downtown area. read more

Tesla Supercharger - Weeks and months old trash, and some newer trash too. - EV Charging Stations Near Me - Yuma, Arizona

They have more chargers now (12). Charger is slower than the ones I've used in Tacna and Gila Bend; ~210 mi/hr and there's only one other Tesla here, charging 4 ports away. Probably for the best that it expects charging to take 55 minutes because there's no amenities around so I will need to do some walking to get to a bathroom. There is a trash can here now, which I read was a concern in another review. read more

We followed someone else's review to stop at this location for charging, and it did not not disappoint. It was clean, and charged pretty fast at the beginning but after 10 minutes slowed down. The old town area is pretty cool, with a few choices for lunch. We chose Prison hill brewing was a nice place. read more

Charger was extremely slow and most likely not working. There were plenty of open spots and should have moved to another but didn't realize it was not charging like it should. Realized after we left that we didn't add much charge in an hour. read more

There was no place to use the bathroom and there was no food available. The Hilton Garden Inn would not let's us use their bathrooms because we weren't staying there. That was the only establishment in the area. We have been to several super chargers, this was our least favorite by far. read more

Showed reduced service on the app and when we arrived in Yuma all down. Tesla needs to reimburse drivers for needing to be towed from Yuma to Gila Bend or El Centro chargers (El Centro had 2 down) or those as us who had 68 miles on battery in Yuma and drove dangerously on I8 freeway at 45 mph for 68 miles to barely make it with 6 miles left on battery. Arrived seeing another car towed from yuma and 6 in line to charge. What a disgrace Tesla, get it together. read more

Be careful. Today only 2 chargers are working 2A is charging at 70 KW. And 2B is at 60. Tried 3 others but did not work. Should get a charge in Gila Bend And maybe El Centro Stopped for a charge today 12-8-2019. Charger was putting out at 120kw. In spot 2A. Appears to be good to go. Stopped again on 12-15-19. Super fast charging (297 mi/hr), but lame location. Located at the edge of the parking lot for a Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel boasts a "restaurant" called "The Great American Bar and Grill," that would be more of a standard American travel-hotel food source. Clean bathrooms and friendly staff. There's a little locomotive exhibit thing in front of the hotel, if you're into railroad history. There's an unfortunate homeless encampment (see photo) behind the chargers, that made me feel it was not the safest lot. I was here during the day, but the parking lot appears to be well lighted, though I wouldn't necessarily recommend walking around after dark. Editing to add: as I drive away, I noticed that there appears to be a small community park area behind the hotel. Might be a decent spot to walk around to stretch your legs during a long trip. read more

Chargers working at decent speed, area is being developed around 2 hotels (one has a Hilton). If you're willing to walk a block or 2, Prison Hill Brewery on Main St has great food, beer selections, nice atmosphere and a friendly staff. But it is about a block and a half away. read more

Chargers seem to be working but I've tried 1-2-3-4 fastest is 33kw at 142mi/hr pretty pathetic... There's a Hilton close by and a few stores are a bit of a walk other than that nothing.... read more

Pretty good supercharger location. Right next to the Colorado river and has an old locomotive that you can walk through to pass time. Only downside is that there's really no restaurants within walking distance. The hotel right next to the supercharger lot has codes on the bathrooms and require you to be a guest to access them. The Hilton right next to that old locomotive I just mentioned has public bathrooms in the lobby. Just go left when you enter, just past the bar. read more

Always space available, and these chargers are fast! Only down side is you are not near anything except a hotel. There is a small downtown area about 1/2 mile away but I always travel when everything is closed! read more

We had no problem getting a charging station that was quick and ready to use right away. A short walk took us to Da Boyz in Downtown Yuma. Great food, staff and clean restrooms. The sizes are huge so many shareable items. read more

Ugh, love Tesla super chargers but this one has minimal conveniences. It also had charging issues when we needed it, so not a favorite.

At least 2 were not working...moved to a 3rd and charging at 28 KW. Moved to a 4th when some other owners came back and left and that charged at only 48 KW. Cutting losses and moving on to El Centro. #Tesla - you need to do better. Many complaints about them being either completely down or super slow... read more

Stopped today, 2A never got above 40kW. So a 30 minute stop turned into an hour long stop. This is not a good stop with nothing near by it makes for a long wait. read more

11/26/2019 - the station was completely offline with one casualty :( I had to drive to Gila Bend at 60 mph to recharge. This is at least 4 months that this station has had problems. This is a pretty important station and Tesla needs to address this station's issues more urgently. read more
