Electrify America - 4 stalls

Electrify America

Super easy for charging and all the stalls worked well. Keep in mind that they charge a sales tax…read moreon top of the cost of the electricity which hasn't been the case at Tesla

This place is a scam. They only charge to 85%. When you plug in, they take your phone number and…read moresay they will text you when your car is done charging, and you have a 10 minute grace period from when they text you. I waited for the text which never came, so i went back to the car and they charged me a $38 idle fee for a $5 charge. I tried to submit a refund request online, and despite multiple attempts, (exiting browser, emptying cache, etc.) was always kicked out of the form when trying to submit. I called in and the operator claimed I had a bad connection, and tried to hang up on me, but I told her I could clearly here all the other voices behind her and that the connection was crystal clear. She then proceeded to execute a script designed to deal with angry customers, and tried to blame my cell service for not getting the text. I received their receipt via text the instant I plugged the charger back in, and had been receiving texts and phone calls while I was waiting for them to text that the car was finished charging. Each time I have called in, the "supervisors" are busy talking to other customers. I recognized some red flags when I noticed their chargers were the only ones without lines at the shopping center we were at, and several were available. Then I noticed that the other 3 people charging their cars there were sitting in their cars while they charged. Finally they said that they only charge cars to 85% to keep their chargers open. Those 3 facts should have made me go somewhere else, but I trusted that they would text me like they said they would. I was WRONG. This is a well engineered scam, and they are making millions of dollars per day scamming people like this. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS, OR WAIT IN YOUR CAR WHILE IT CHARGES. Naturally, they refused to issue a refund because they maintain that my phone didn't receive the text they never sent. SCAM!!
