Pulling into the supercharger, it's well lit with plenty of bays. You can easily leave your Tesla and walk to 5 Guys to grab a bite to eat or use the bathroom facilities. I charged up while watching "Somebody Feed Phil" on Netflix on the screen. So choice.

This pretty much means that it anytime you can shop here and there could be a Ford 150 parked and the electric vehicle charging lot because there's no green marking or anything on the ground indicating that it's an electric vehicle charger and of course that would need to be obvious for the residence of Darien! There's food shopping and other things available within walking distance so in that regard it's actually a really good charging station especially since it's a DC fast charger. Oh did I mention you could easily be in the parking lot and watch wild turkeys go by two so there's some nice wildlife as well.

Outside those hours need to contact security to get access. There are 12 stalls, all have good energy, 250 kw max. The rate is 39 cents per KW, little bit higher than other superchargers I have been to. Also a lot of the times people just leave their Teslas unplugged at the charging spot, as if these are regular parking spots. The outlet personnels do not take much action to remedy the situation.

I remember years ago where they had a path of Christmas lights and a separate room of where they had a train and villages set up but I guess they stopped doing that. Eventually, after endless calls and emails, they graciously agreed to repair them for free -- even though at first they wanted to charge me for the repair of their own defective product. Then they handed the shoes off to UPS... and UPS lost them. For a month. After yet another month of back and forth, the shoes were finally repaired and returned. And the cherry on top? Their idea of compensation for this entire ordeal was -- wait for it -- a whopping 10% discount on my next purchase. My next purchase?! There will be no next purchase. Ever. Let me be clear: I paid luxury prices and received dollar-store customer service. Months of my time wasted, zero accountability, and an insultingly small discount as a "sorry." I came to Woodbury last month to shop for deals…read more I was not impressed with the selection at the coach or Michael Kors outlet. Styles were outdated and prices were not discounted. Skims had a selection of clothing on sale with an additional 30 percent off. The skims store was organized, but the line to enter the shop was slow and long. Food options at Woodbury were very limited. The food court had minimal options ranging from pizza to sandwiches. Price of food was steep especially for upstate NY.

We came to this Tesla charging station and it was slammed!…read more Not only were there Teslas but I saw a Fisker Ocean charging at one of the bays. Our wait wasn't too long, once I had the Tesla hooked up to the zapper cable, we all took a walk to the local Dunkin'. I bought a Hot Chocolate and walked back to charing station. The car was charged and we were back on the road. I'm not sure about this spot at night, it seemed like a safe area to charge.

The superchargers were easy to find and get in and out of. To charge, you have to use the app. There are fees based on the amount of electricity consumed; idling fees will incur if the charge is complete and the vehicle is just parked there. The charge was quick, we were in and out of there in 15 minutes. Overall, it's a great asset for people with electric vehicles.
