Nice location with a few fast food accomodations - McDonald's, Subway, etc. Charging area was clean and there's access to restrooms that are decent as well as those provided by the fast food joints. Nice area to stretch out, use the restrooms and grab a bite or a drink to go. read more

Firebaugh, Ca. Very good charge rate here and some stalls have shade provided by the solar PV structure. I have found that some stalls give me the red light when plugging in and I must move to a different space. The bathroom here is pretty much trashed by individuals taking their anger out on bathroom fixtures. I'm not sure how often it's cleaned, maybe once daily? It's not impossibly bad. The food choices here are typical fast food fare. For a better food selection you may want to try to make it down the road apiece to Harris Ranch. Windshield cleaning can be done at any of the nearby gas stations on your way out. read more

I think this might be the largest Supercharger location I've been to. Sven says it was the largest station in the world. I don't doubt it. Located along Interstate 5 (or as the locals call it, the "Five Freeway"), this location has FIFTY SIX chargers. Yes, 56. And the best part is that they're under cover. The roof is all solar panels which I'm sure are used to help offset some of the power draw from the regular grid. Awesomesauce. If you own a Tesla an doing a road trip in the area, you should definitely have a charging session in this Supercharger. It's such an impressive view to see sooooo many superchargers at one station. At the time I was charging, 10am on a thursday, I was the only car, so that felt a bit creepy. Mcdonald is right inside the chevron. There are bathroom outside the chevron and inside the chevron. Friendly staff at McDonald. 4 stars because it felt a bit sketchy compares to the other superchargers on I5 between SF and LA. Maybe it was the abandon building right next door? 52 stall supercharger with sparse amenities. I appreciate the shade created by the solar canopies, but a bathroom would have been really nice. There is a gas station bathroom right next door but we decided to pass and instead stopped by Kettleman supercharger and the clean bathroom there. We were the only ones charging during the entire 15 minutes, but I like that Tesla is thinking toward the future (and busy holidays) by building very large capacity supercharger locations. read more

This is my first time driving from the Bay to LA since buying my Tesla. This Supercharger is gigantic! 56 stalls! LOL! This is about 1/3 the way down to LA, give or take. I'll probably supercharge again right before climbing the Grapevine. Right now, it's Saturday morning at 930 AM, and there might just be 10 stalls being used right now. There's a McDonald's and Chevron store conveniently next door. McDonald's can even deliver food to you (I assume you use a McDonald's app?). This is probably busier than normal right now, since CA just reopened a couple weeks ago, but there's still a million stalls available. 24/7 Tesla Supercharger for our trip down to SoCal. We were on a full charge and made it here with only 15 miles remaining after leaving from the city. There are a ton of charging stations. Most superchargers are located in plazas with food and shopping, but this one is located in an area where there isn't much around. The chargers are close to a chevron so the mini mart and attached McDs. There's also a baja fresh and taco bell as walkable options while you're charging. There's a fosters freeze across the street too, so there are a few options for fast food, but that's about it! read more

Wow, on the road trip this was a must stop for charging. There are 56 v3 charging stalls, the largest Supercharger in the world. Came in at night, so only a few other people charging. Definitely got good speed to get us back on the way quickly. There is a McDonald's next-door that will bring delivery to you while you wait in your car charging, so I think that could appeal to some people. Very easy access to I5 and easy to find, unlike some other chargers. Overall, definitely a winner and probably a pilgrimage stop for anybody heading down the I5 corridor with a Tesla. read more

In my opinion, second to Kettleman City this is the next most convenient Tesla Supercharger location off of Interstate 5 in the Central Valley. I believe it's a 56 stall set up with all version 3s and it looks like they are continuing to expand. The location is next to a McDonald's and nearby a Taco Bell, a gas station and a motel. There is a restaurant located outside of the McDonald's and often there is a wait, but if you're really in need there are hidden locations around the back of the abandon restaurant next door that you can use, in case of emergencies. The other knock against this location is the trash cans are always overflowing therefore there are a lot of flies, so beware if you're sensitive to that. Otherwise, it's a good place to stop and do your best to try and not make the flies issue even worse by throwing your garbage away in an empty trash can. read more

Navigation routed me to this supercharger location. All the power is off and I don't have enough range left to reach the nearest charger at Harris Ranch. Contacted Tesla roadside. Beware Model X owners. DO NOT PARK in slots with roof uprights, as you WILL hit the uprights. TESLA have the tire stops too far back, so the height of the car means you'll suffer vehicle damage, and parking too far forward means the cable won't reach. This is a large station, right off the 5 freeway. It is best approached from the road, rather than turning at the gas station because of gigantic potholes. There's a McDonalds, convenience store, and Taco Bell that are next door. There's lots of graffiti around, but it appears safe enough and there's plenty of people around during the day.
