I've had two Teslas, I purchased my Model 3 in July 2018. It was totaled by kid who ran a red light and T-boned me in December 2020. I walked away and the kid went to the hospital. I ordered my Model Y three weeks after the accident and picked it up at the Service Center 4 weeks later in January 2021. I have 3 1/2 years of working with the Tesla Service Center, both in Olivette and in Chesterfield. In that time, I had 2 repairs on the Model 3 and one repair on the Model Y. The team in Chesterfield has been fabulous. The first repair was for a problem with the early Model 3 Frunk latch, the second was for a problem with the early Model 3 window switches. In the case of the Frunk latch, the Service Center was still in Olivette and I had just gotten ice cream to take home when the latch failed. The guys got me into the center and manually opened the Frunk before the ice cream melted and ordered the new latch which they swapped out a few weeks later - my schedule was the problem not theirs. The second issue was a failed window switch, the Service Center was in Chesterfield by then and they said it would be easier for them to just come to my home to make the repair. The tech came and swapped the switch while I was on a conference call, no fuss, no muss. Lastly, on my Model Y, the driver's side mirror wouldn't move enough to give me good vision, I talked to the Service Center made an appointment. 30 minutes was my total time at the Chesterfield Tesla Store to get the mirror repaired. In all three repairs, I did not spend a penny, the team was courteous, efficient and professional. I couldn't ask for better care from Tesla. read more
