Although this location is a little of a trek for me it is completely worth it. I just wish they had ALL the Melona ice cream flavors like coconut and mango, but they have everything else so I'll take it!! Can you guys stock Rose Tteokbokki please and thank you!!!

As an expat from the States, I was wildly surprised to find an H-Mart in London. Wildly surprised…read morebut pleasantly relieved - I mean, where else can I buy good quality udon, kim chee, noodle mixes, frozen dumplings, super thin sliced beef/pork for hotpot and fresh shiitake for a good price? I know Japan Centre has similar quality but the price point is not always right. Chinatown is good for some things (fresh veggies, fresh rice noodle rolls, ramen, etc.) but it's hard to beat the selection at H-Mart. There is good lighting and sufficient aisle space so carts going in opposite directions don't have to awkwardly back out of the aisle so the opposing cart can go first (kind of like the naughty London roads!) - in most grocery stores in Chinatown, you are elbow to elbow with someone else trying to get a damn jar of Hoisin sauce in your overflowing basket. Customer service is lacking, especially when something is out of stock and no one in the store seems to know what is going on or when they will get more. Aside from the cashiers, most people working the floor do not speak English very well. The employees are mainly Korean and Chinese. However, most items are translated to English on labels and signage. I will continue to shop here for quality groceries and I hope they open more locations so that it is easily assessable to more people in London.

Were this supermarket anywhere else, it would be a Sainsbury's Local, and not have the special offers available that the large, superstores do. However, when they built the capacious Sainbury's nearby, they apparently agreed to keep the little one as a 'proper' Sainsbury's, as it services the Nurserylands estate (a mixture of privately owned homes, council and housing association properties, plus some sheltered housing and older people's housing). Many of the people in the vicinity don't drive, so this is a lifeline for many local residents. This Sainsbury's is quite little. The aisles are narrow, and the selection is, as you'd expect, more limited than you find at the nearby superstore. There are no counters (i.e. deli, meat, fish etc), though you can buy fresh meat and packed fresh fish down the refrigerated aisle. They do bring in fresh bread from the larger store, so you can smell the bread if you're there at the right time. There is a fairly decently sized booze section, and a very small frozen foods section. This is a good shop to pick up bits and pieces, though it doesn't have the selection I need to do a full weekly shop there (though many people do). On the up side, the prices are a the same as at the larger shops, and any special offers they have at the superstore also is offered here. It is good that they have maintained the local shop for the local people.

So i kick up a fuss and a 22 year old manager comes out and just does not know what he is talking about ,after a few fucks he threw at me i just left. I will never shop here again and will spread the word

This is a Metro store in the main shopping area of East Molesey. It has longer opening hours that…read morethe Hurst Park store and is open until 11pm Monday to Saturday. Stock levels are usually good and I tend to find that what has sold out at the bigger store can be found here - and at the same price, not more expensive as some metro stores can be. friendly staff, recently installed self scan checkouts which makes shopping here a lot faster, although sometimes the self scans are not open first thiing in the morning which seems a bit daft to me as they only have one cashier on duty.
