I had the beef nachos here the other day and the beef had little flavour and the nachos themselves had a strong flavour of lemon washing up liquid. But the roast is good. Handily, it's also open later (until 10pm on weekdays) than most other supermarkets in the vicinity. I like the WellBeing section with interesting products and some decently priced lines. The deli counter has a comprehensive range, with some occasional quirky offerings and tastings. I recently made an intriguing new taste discovery here: Ilchester's Cheddar & Fruitcake combination - unusual and delicious! There's a pharmacy at the back of the store that also has a fair selection of alternative remedies. In contrast, close to the front of the store is a hot counter with cooked chicken, ribs, Chinese and Indian dishes. When I've had cause to ask questions at this store I've experienced both ends of the spectrum: fantastically helpful smiling staff and, on several occasions, downright aggression (even in response to a very normal bog-standard enquiry).
