Just like the other Tesco I shopped last month, this store is massively huge with a major selection of produce (two aisles!), cheese, meats, and then dry goods. I'm almost glad I don't have a car, because my carrying capacity limited my spending budget here. The store also has a little snack restaurant, though I thought it had a pretty good selection for a cafeteria style deal. Great hours, it's open from Monday at 06:00 until Saturday at 22:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00. (Aside from the bus issue.) There's a petrol station in the parking area and a "freephone" near the tills for calling a taxi.

For groceries, though, it's got a lot to offer. Fruit and veg are of good quality and usually well-stocked. The deli and fresh fish counters offer a lot of choice, and they even have a large 'Polish food' section. They have two 'car trolleys' which amuse small (and big) kids greatly, and make the shopping trip easier with children who are too big for the trolley seats but too small to walk all the way around without whining. Items for sale can sometimes be a little hit-or-miss depending on what they were able to purchase, but the usual basics are usually in stock. There typically isn't more than one brand of any item, but the quality is decent. Produce is varied and the frozen section is good. Dairy is also limited, but there is a reasonable choice in the booze and personal care areas. Service is minimal - other than a few shelf-stockers and one or two checkout staffers, there's no one there. The location is right next to the Reading West Station, on Oxford Road. As with some other stores, do have your £1 coin to deposit for a trolley ("cart" or "wagon" in American) though the hand-carry baskets are available. Two warnings. Bags are NOT free here - you either bring your own or you purchase them as you pack. They do NOT accept credit cards or checks. It's cash or debit card only. Yes, I would return. However the downside is that there may be things on my shopping list that aren't on offer, so I might end up in Tesco or Sainsbury's instead.

I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who stopped to offer help, in the end a lovely young man from Latvia came and helped me. He pulled out this huge screw/ bolt from the tyre then repaired it with something magic that looked like a rubber plug. I don't know his name, he said he lived in new Milton and he had a blue car. He really was a saviour to me. I was so amazed that so many kind people came to my aid and offered help. with all the bad things happening in this world today, all the people who stopped were just kind and wonderfu, I'm glad I live in this great country.

This Sainsbury's also has a cafe area, a hot food counter, electrical and clothes areas. It is a very large store and takes quite a while to look around, although it is laid out really well. There is a dedicated desk in the clothes and electrical area that can help you with any stock that isn't out on display. It has a large fruit and veg section as well as a bakery but the frozen food isle are not that big. Good place to do your weekly shop as you have a marks and Spencer next door and the petrol is always at a reasonable price compared to other stations. Staff are also helpful and friendly.

It is one of the most centrally located street markets in London. The market mainly caters for local residents and the office population in the immediate Victoria Street area, selling food, groceries, books and clothing, but is becoming increasingly popular with tourists. My wife and I visited the Strutton Ground Market while we were on a trip to London in April 2019. We had just visited Westminster Abbey down the street, and my wife told me about a great street market that we could stop at for lunch. She had studied abroad in London and knew her way around the city pretty well. There were so many delicious-sounding food vendors that we had trouble picking. I decided to order from a Middle Eastern food vender called Falafel Zaki Zaki. I ordered "The Whole Shebang Wrap" which was stuffed with falafel, eggplant (aubergine), salad, hot peppers, pickled vegetables and white sauce. Just as I was about to take a picture of the delicious wrap, the vendor posed for the shot and had me cracking up. That wrap was so good!! My wife found a cool Indian street food vendor and ordered some Samosas and a side of Chicken with Rice. We ended up sharing all of our food and were very happy with our choices. We'll definitely stop again on our next trip to London.

Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. The upstairs even has large freezers with ice cream and baked goods, and more meat. The people are very friendly and everything is quite affordable. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

My husband was able to find whole oats here (called Jumbo Oats) which he couldn't find in any of the major grocery stores. The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

Somewhere central so you didn't have to get in your car everytime you needed a loaf of bread or some oranges. So congratulations to Waitrose for meeting that need. It took Waitrose a while to settle into their market. For a while, they tried to be more like a deli, with little discounting and not many customers doing a weekly shop. Either the credit crunch or a sensible reappraisal led them to introduce price commitments and reductions. While not there yet, I am sure what all local residents really want is Waitrose quality at Tesco prices, and if that's how we keep buying maybe Waitrose will start to provide.
