Worst line is if something is mispriced and have to go to customer service. Really they could do with opening both customer service desks and the larger Asian lady with glasses moves at a slothful pace, be better to get someone lean and fast there. Especially as in Asda if something is incorrectly charged for and you explain on the shelf it was marked at x, they have to go and verify it as though not trusting the customer unlike in Waitrose where word is good enough.

The staff are friendly and helpful and the shop clean and tidy. Very often this store will still have the full range of special offers available. There is a small selection of phones, dvd's and games but they usually carry the popular ranges. There is a petrol station on site. However, I find this store quite difficult to get in and out of as it is situated on a main road leading to a busy roundabout.

I don't know how many claims they've had to deal with for customer injuries or illness. Have observed that when customers raise issues with staff about products not up to quality staff look scared rather than empowered to do the right thing. Timidly they call management over who never seem to deal with the issue, it's always the customers fault somehow, do visit the store and you will see for yourself.

Buying suran (elephant foot yam or jimikand) recently I noticed that NOBODY in the locality had this vegetable anywhere near as fresh, and in fact those from many stores were rotting quite badly or had had a lot of rot cut off. My other great impression of Krishna's is their very kind and friendly staff. They cannot do enough to help you and really have been so kind to me. It is a well-known fact that the general hygiene in this country is iffy. So when customers in making their selection, do not settle for the first loaf but handle quite a few before choosing the one they want, will definitely spread contamination to the rest of us. I have taken this matter up with the floor manager today and on two other occasions but I am being fobbed off with pat answers that this is the company's policy. I ask you: Will she feed her own family with something which she knows could be contaminated? Other supermarkets provide tongs and paper bags, why cannot a responsible firm like Waitrose who say they are all in favour for a healthy living for their customers do likewise?
