The shop has soft, warm lighting and relaxing music, along with the aroma of incense and bath oils, which makes it a nice experience to some in a shop. My favourite things there have to be the simple, Jade rings that only cost around £2- a bargin as they look great and are easy to wear everywhere. As for the place where they do the manicures, etc, they're actually a small section at the back corner of the shop, and they look comfortable and clean, but if you don't fancy people watching you while you have your eyebrows threaded, then you may be put off by the fact that it is not an enclosed room. If you're looking for a place to get pampered, or buy a gift for someone, then this is a great place to try.

However, even though I probably go at least twice a month, things are hard to find, illogically placed (i.e. things that go together are aisles apart) and the store seems shabby and dirty. I'm also unimpressed that shelves are often sparsely filled - not just for one or two products, but all over the store. If you need to ask a member of staff a question, you're best advised to ask a member of till staff when they're free, as they're more helpful and friendly than the floor staff seem to be (I've been completely blanked on more than one occasion). Not perfect, but tries hard.

After searching high and low on the internet(s) for places to buy MUFE in London, I discovered Guru Makeup Emporium. It's a tiny but well-stocked shop located on a quaint side street in Fulham. I arrived there on a Saturday a little after 4pm. They close at 4pm on Saturdays. I wanted to cry. To my great surprise, the shop owner reopened the shop and quickly let me pick out what I came to buy! I am completely in love with this place now and I can't wait to go back again :D

This is a large Boots store at Westfield London that stands out within the shopping centre, it has…read morethe benefit of being open late in the evenings, generally around 10 pm, that includes the Pharmacy meaning it is useful to grab medication and essentials later in the evening. The store looks good and is fairly clean, it has a nice selection of many of the items you would expect to find in the Boots, including beauty, cosmetics, toiletries, and a selection of over the counter and prescribed medications. It also has an Opticians which is pretty handy. It would be nice if they had more staffed counters, they really seem to be pushing self-service too, not great for the elderly! 4*
