We were here on a Sunday (staff said they closed at 1400 that day). They have the locally famous Argo's bakery bere shortbread. The Millionaire Shortbread is super delicious. There are other locally made shortbread and other foods. Staff is very friendly. Store is a decent size, it's not small. Credit card minimum charge is 5 pounds. They take cash also.

I also think they are used to a lot of travelers, similar to us who dash in and grab sandwiches as the sandwich and pie display is the first thing u see when you walk in. I got the chicken tikka slice and a cheese and onion sandwich. I thought the cheese and onion sandwich was a better taste and held up more than the chicken tikka slice that I ate when lukewarm. Also picked up water, 2 packs of crisps and a pack of Cadbury buttons chocolate and all this was under 10 pounds, so drove away happy.

Tesco was - as mostly for us - the best choice around. It is only medium-sized, but opens until 10pm and had everything we needed. Especially the meat and veggie section is important to us and did not disappoint. We found some nice dry-aged scottish steaks. Also good Lamp Chops for just 4£, good quality too! Some cheddar and Cheese-Naan on the side (and some salad). There are also good deals on wine. For about 6-10£ you really can find some enjoyable wine (try some Australian or some from Chile). Also - as usual - free WiFi in the shop (and the parking lot). They didn't have Krispy Kreme Donuts though .... D'oh!
