Bought some cupcakes, donuts and a slice of apple pie. All tasted actually fantastic. Donut was soft, fresh, with a good bite and nice sugar on top. The cupcake was heaven - really rich, heavy and full of buttery flavours. Nice topping as well. Still, the star of the show was definitely the apple pie. It's been many years since we've had a great apple pie like this (the 66 Diner in Albuquerque is the only one on par that comes to mind). Great crunchy crust. Inside real good chunks of wonderful apples. Nice balance between apple and sugary sauce. It just was so rewarding breaking through the crust to dig in the wonderful apple filling. Fantastic. And surely not to be missed.

We were here on a Sunday (staff said they closed at 1400 that day). They have the locally famous Argo's bakery bere shortbread. The Millionaire Shortbread is super delicious. There are other locally made shortbread and other foods. Staff is very friendly. Store is a decent size, it's not small. Credit card minimum charge is 5 pounds. They take cash also.
