I have done tesco online before but this week i did superquinn online shopping. as i said in my original review, superquinn is great for fresh fruit and veg and their bread is just perfect! So i did my shopping online for the ballinteer store. I didn't have to tackle any trolleys or queue to pay and i still got the lovely fresh food that i expect from superquinn. the delivery guy was cheery and helpful and i had all my shopping in my kitchen with no hassle! And i didnt spend as much as usual, because i couldnt see the shelves i was not tempted to pick up all the bad stuff that usually gleams at me from the aisles! this might be a resolution I can keep up!

I like to keep it healthy which means I can spend up to a tenner on a nice salad-y lunch and again the same, or more, for dinner, if I'm not able to cook at home. If I cook from home, I buy fresh ingredients and it takes me ages, so it's always one extreme or the other. Enter Paleo Ireland. I must say I've been really surprised by just How. Good. This. Food. Is. Really. I've always been Junior Sceptic about these types of delivery services. I don't want to be eating food that isn't fresh that doesn't have a high vegetable count. And I don't want to be eating stuff with preservatives and additions. And above all I don't want to be spending loads for the privilege. These guys deliver to your doorstep for 60 euro all in, including delivery. Five lunches and five dinners. All paleo, all nutritionally balanced, all really filling. For a fiver a meal, delivered, it's unusually good value. For the weeks you're running around with not two seconds to yourself, it's just a live saver. I'd definitely recommend to anyone.

We call to see where its delivered to and find the RUDEST person who keeps reiterating that its been delivered and we shouldn't have put our eircode down. After knocking on all the neighbors houses embarrassed to find none of them received anything. I physically go down and I'm met with the same attitude. No reimbursement or offer to remake the food. The store is huge with up to forty aisles all stocked with a colossal assortment of diverse goods to hopefully pander to your every need. The store is so big that I was at a loss trying to find toothpicks on one occasion, having carried out a far-reaching search I approached the customer services desk who were able to look up 'Toothpicks' on their system and tell me exactly which aisle number the toothpicks resided in as well as how many shelves from the top they were on. I was delighted by this considerate and very beneficial service. I was happy that my request was not met by a groan but instead empathetic understanding that owing to the large size of the store it is inevitable that a new customer would have difficulty tracking down every pernickety thing they were looking for. This store can really pride itself on possessing a plentiful amount of stock. On one shopping trip I was able to buy all the toiletries I required for my last term at university, a memory card reader and a hammer. Such a versatile range of goods under one roof can only be a good thing, helped along commendably by kind and patient staff.
