The selection was really poor. As you either have to pay for parking or spend £5 to get the parking ticket validated, I decided I would get a couple of bits, so to not have had a totally wasted journey. I went to the self checkout to pay and was told I was the wrong end, as I had a trolley. I went to the other end, which had a bit of a queue, even though there were tills available. When it was my turn I went to the till, only to be told I couldn't use it as I had a trolley and this till was for baskets. So basically there were tills available, but not for me to use. I approached the happy to help lady and pointed out how ridiculous this was. She was , as the tabard suggested, happy to help and told me just to use one of the tills which were free. What a palaver, just to buy 2 items, and how confusing that you can't use a till that's available, they'd rather have a queue and people waiting unneccarily.

If you are standing and looking around the shop, people will run over you, without saying sorry or anything. It has 8 tills, but they only open 6 at the best, however the whole place is full of people with long waiting lines.

Typical Tesco range of stock and range of prices to suit whatever budget you are on. Has decent clean toilets. Good for bulk buys. Non food section seems to get bigger and better each time I visit. Staff service is a bit hit and miss usually helpful if you ask but usually keen to get away from you (or is it me!). Check out queues generally not too bad given the numbers of customers inside the store.

If you get a free Iceland Bonus Card, and you spend more than £25 in store, they offer free delivery within 3 miles (inside the M25). They *could* deliver to my house, but not until tomorrow. I didn't expect immediate delivery, but I did expect some time later this evening. I am not going to waste a day at home tomorrow waiting for the stuff to arrive, so I took it home on the bus.
